  • Publication number: 20240102053
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing genetically engineered cells in vitro. The method includes direct injection of a genome editing composition into a cell nucleus of a cell. The genome editing composition includes at least one Cas protein and at least one gRNA molecule to target a distinct genomic location. The injection is performed with a microelectromechanical systems injection chip including a cantilever. The cantilever includes a microchannel being in fluid communication with a nanosyringe, and wherein direct injection includes providing a fluid communication between the microchannel and the nucleus of the cell by insertion of the nanosyringe into the nucleus of the cell and injecting the genome editing composition via the microchannel through the nanosyringe into the nucleus of the cell.

  • Patent number: 11648651
Abstract: The installation tool for a wire thread insert includes: a drive unit which provides a switchable rotation movement between a first and a second direction, a mandrel body with a drive section for rotating the mandrel body and with a drive section for rotating the mandrel body and with a thread section onto which the wire thread insert can be screwed or rotated on, an installation blade as well as a torque clutch consisting of a form-fit and force-fit clutch upper and lower parts engaging each other, of which the upper part is connected with the drive unit in a torque-proof manner and the lower part is connected with the mandrel body in a torque-proof manner. With a decoupled relative rotation between the clutch parts, caused by exceeding a limit torque between the clutch parts, relative movement between the mandrel body and the installation blade can be generated.

  • Patent number: 10441997
Abstract: A metal casting method and a plastic injection molding method in which an insert is molded in molten material such that no molten material enters the interior of the insert. The usage of a wire thread insert as insert has the advantage that for example in an aluminum cast part thread holes can be produced already as part of the casting process. For this purpose, the casting mold, the insert, as well as the casting method are described.

  • Publication number: 20180298471
Abstract: An aluminum alloy is provided. The aluminum alloy has the following composition: 0.2 to 1.8 wt % of Si, 0.2 to 1.8 wt % of Mg, 0.3 to 2.5 wt % of Mn, 0.2 to 1.5 wt % of Fe, 0.05 to 0.75 wt % of Zr, and 0.03 to 0.18 wt % of Ti. The balance of the alloy is aluminum and impurities. The aluminum alloy may further optionally include one or more of the following elements: a maximum of 0.1 wt % of Cr, a maximum of 0.05 wt % of Cu, 0.2 to 1.8 wt % of Zn, and 0.02 to 0.5 wt % of Er. The aluminum alloy may further optionally include 0.01 to 0.2 wt % of a grain refiner containing Ti and B. The alloy is suitable for the production of components having elevated heat stability, especially for the production of components for the automobile industry, by extrusion, forging or casting in permanent molds.
