Publication number: 20230219155Abstract: A hot-forming die has a heatable lower die and a heatable upper die. The lower die and the upper die have spacer elements to permit flexing. A plate stack including two plate elements is inside the hot-forming die. The plate stack is on the spacer elements in the lower die. The lower die and the upper die are displaced relative to each other when the hot-forming die is closed. The spacer elements of the upper die come into contact with the plate stack. As the closing movement continues, the spacer elements, are displaced into the lower die and the upper die, respectively, and the plate stack is clamped between the lower die and the upper die. The plate stack is then heated by the lower die and the upper die and an internal pressure is applied to an intermediate space between the plate elements by feeding in an active medium.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 9, 2023Publication date: July 13, 2023Inventors: Tobias DUPMEIER, Guenter FORTMEIER

Patent number: 11638949Abstract: In a method for producing a multilayered heat shield, which has a first metal layer and a second metal layer that has an insulating layer arranged between the metal layers, the metal layers are connected at the edge by a flanging. To produce the heat shield, the first metal layer, the insulating layer and the second metal layer are placed into a first pressing tool. This is effected in such a way that an edge portion of the first metal layer protrudes beyond an edge portion of the second metal layer. The insulating layer is set back from the edge portions of the first metal layer and of the second metal layer.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2021Date of Patent: May 2, 2023Assignee: BENTELER AUTOMOBILTECHNIK GMBHInventors: Carsten Sonntag, Tobias Dupmeier

Publication number: 20160334170Abstract: A motor vehicle heat exchanger system with a closed circuit for an operating medium includes an evaporator for evaporating the operating medium and a condenser for condensing the vaporous operating medium AM is provided. A reservoir for the liquid operating medium is integrated between the condense and the evaporator. Liquid operating medium is conducted from the reservoir via a feed line into the evaporator. In addition the reservoir and the evaporator are connected with each other via a compensation line. Vapor which may form during operation of the motor vehicle heat exchanger system on the liquid side of the evaporator can escape through the compensation line thereby achieving a pressure compensation.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 11, 2016Publication date: November 17, 2016Applicant: Benteler Automobiltechnik GmbHInventors: Julian Grenz, SVEN PRZYBYLSKI, MAXIMILIAN BEYE, TOBIAS DÜPMEIER

Publication number: 20160333843Abstract: A motor vehicle heat exchanger system includes a closed circuit for a working medium and an exhaust gas channel for passage of exhaust gas that is discharged from an internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle. An evaporator makes contact with the exhaust gas channel and evaporates the working medium. The evaporator includes at least one evaporator cassette having a housing and a capillary structure arranged in the housing. The capillary structure is formed by a porous plate body, e.g. made of sintered material.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 11, 2016Publication date: November 17, 2016Applicant: BENTELER AUTOMOBILTECHNIK GMBHInventors: FELIX RUBITSCHEK, SVEN PRZYBYLSKI, ANATOLI ENNS, TOBIAS DÜPMEIER
