    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing dental milling blanks, wherein inorganic filler powders are in a first step surface-coated with a silane and wherein in a second step a polymerizable composition is adsorbed on the silanized surface. Subsequent compression and polymerization affords a homogeneous milling blank having very good mechanical properties.
