  • Publication number: 20250047843
Abstract: Video codec for supporting temporal inter-prediction, configured to perform padding of an area of a referenced portion of a reference picture which extends beyond a border of the reference picture, which referenced portion is referenced by an inter predicted block of a current picture by selecting one of a plurality of intra-prediction modes, and padding the area using the selected intra-prediction mode.

  • Publication number: 20250030853
Abstract: A video decoder for decoding an encoded video signal including encoded picture data and indication data of a picture of a video to reconstruct the picture of the video is provided. The video decoder includes an interface configured for receiving the encoded video signal, and a data decoder configured for reconstructing the picture of the video by decoding the encoded picture data using the indication data. The picture is partitioned into a plurality of coding areas. One or more coding areas of the plurality of coding areas include two or more coding tree units of the plurality of coding tree units, wherein each coding area of the one or more coding areas which includes two or more coding tree units exhibits a coding order for the two or more coding tree units of the coding area.

  • Patent number: 8840304
Abstract: A flexible, lightweight, easily maneuverable positioner for an imaging system. The positioning system in one example has a cart section with a base frame coupled to one or more wheels. There is a mast extending from the cart section and a linkage assembly coupled to a second end of the mast, wherein the mast is configured to swing about a vertical plane. There is a positioning arm coupled to the linkage assembly, wherein the positioning arm is configured to swing about at least one of a horizontal plane and the vertical plane. An imaging bracket is used to couple to the positioning arm and configured to receive an imaging unit. In one example, the positioner is coupled together by fasteners, wherein the positioner can be assembled and dis-assembled via the fasteners without tools.

  • Patent number: 5552674
Abstract: A clocked power supply circuit is proposed which includes a control arrangement (20) which outputs switching signals (21) to switching means (13) as a function of a load condition present on the output side and which includes at least one inductive element (12). Provided on the output side is a load (22) which is independent of the electric consumer (18), preferably a gas discharge lamp, and is at least temporarily active. It is possible using the load (22) specifically to avoid no-load operation of the clocked power supply by means of a load, as a result of which the system-induced reaction time can be substantially shortened in the case of a short-term energy requirement of the consumer (18). The energy required in the short term can be supplied by the magnetic energy stored in the inductive element (12).
