  • Publication number: 20240053145
Abstract: A device for emitting electromagnetic radiation and/or sound waves by a corresponding transmitter and a corresponding method, wherein the device includes a control module connected to the transmitter. The control module includes a processor and an inclination sensor. The inclination sensor is electrically connected to the processor. The processor is configured to evaluate an inclination angle or change in inclination angle recorded by the inclination sensor continuously or periodically after each elapsing of a time interval in relation to a movement of the inclination sensor and for controlling the transmitter in an active state, in which the transmitter is switched on, or in a passive state, in which the transmitter is switched off. An intuitive control of the transmitter by means of a tilting movement of the inclination sensor is hereby achieved.

  • Publication number: 20130294076
Abstract: A light fixture, such as a laminar light fixture to illuminate a workstation with an effective anti-glare feature comprising a number of LEDs as light sources, and an anti-glare grid with a number of adjacently located, anti-glare channels going through and a number of webs separating the anti-glare channels. Each anti-glare channel has a first end and a second end that is opposite to the first end. The light fixture further comprises a light-guiding panel with a number of adjacently located cup-like light-guiding elements. Each light-guiding element provides a light-guiding channel going through that has a first end and a second end that is located opposite to the first end. Further, at least one LED is located at the first end of the light-guiding channel of each light-guiding element. One light-guiding element is located in each anti-glare channel.

  • Patent number: 5517391
Abstract: The invention relates to a kit for designing a lighting arrangement, in which light fixtures (8) are clamped in tracks with electric conductors, which are hung from the ceiling. The kit consists of the combination of two track elements (3) which are hung from a ceiling (9) by hanging rods (10) and a low-voltage transformer (12). The track elements (3) each have two recesses (4, 5) disposed one above the other at the same side of track element (3), and two low-voltage electric conductors (6) are arranged in one of the recesses (5) at a distance from and opposite one another, the other recess (4) being used to mount the light fixtures (8) and for connection of the track elements (3) on a track connector (7).
