Patent number: 10639955Abstract: A suspension system for a vehicle axle including at least one hydraulic suspension cylinder, which has at least one chamber, with the chamber being connected to a hydraulic accumulator and allowing a connection via switching arrangement as well as to a pressure source and a pressure release. A shut-off valve is arranged between the chamber and the accumulator, by which the suspension can be blocked. In order to avoid during the unblocking process that any sudden compensating motion of the axle suspension develops, here the suspension system includes at least one detection device connected to the chamber of the suspension cylinder and the accumulator, which is embodied to detect the pressure difference between the chamber and the accumulator.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2017Date of Patent: May 5, 2020Assignees: Weber-Hydraulik GmbH, Deere & CompanyInventors: Christian A. von Holst, Michael Kremb, Tobias Hegler, Jacek Zatrieb

Patent number: 10350953Abstract: A vehicle includes a support structure and a suspension for an oscillatingly supported, rigid axle body. The suspension has a suspension device which is located between the axle body and the support structure and acts in a height direction of the vehicle. The vehicle further includes a plurality of coupling sites and a transverse link extending in a transverse direction of the vehicle. The transverse link is coupled to the support structure via a first link area and via a second link area and a pendulum support to the axle body. The transverse link includes a third link area which, with reference to the pendulum support in the transverse direction of the vehicle, is located opposite the first link area and is flexibly connected with a coupling site of the suspension device.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2016Date of Patent: July 16, 2019Assignee: DEERE & COMPANYInventors: Guenther Wolf, Christian Von Holst, Michael Kremb, Tobias Hegler, Norman Roessel

Patent number: 10065473Abstract: A control device of a vehicle suspension has a suspension device mounted between a supporting vehicle structure and a vehicle part that is movably mounted. The control device includes a blocking device for blocking a compression or rebound motion occurring at the suspension device in correspondence with a blocking command transmitted to a control unit. The control unit determines a characteristic weight value for a current loading of the suspension device when the blocking command is set and stores it as a pertinent value in a memory unit. The control unit determines a value for the weight when the blocking command is reset in order to cancel a blocking of the suspension device according to the result of a comparison with the value stored in the memory unit.Type: GrantFiled: August 17, 2016Date of Patent: September 4, 2018Assignee: Deere & CompanyInventors: Christian von Holst, Tobias Hegler, Mathias Klittich, Michael Kremb, Norman Rössel, Andreas Wehle, Günther Wolf

Publication number: 20120098227Abstract: A stabilization system for a motor vehicle, such as an agricultural utility vehicle, includes several spring elements which movably support a vehicle body relative to a vehicle chassis. The system includes a stabilizer bar that extends in the direction of a rocking or pitching movement of the vehicle body. The bar has a first end piece pivotally coupled to the vehicle body and a second end piece pivotally coupled to the chassis. The stabilizer bar has two bar segments that are movable relative to each other in its longitudinal direction. A locking device is operable to prevent to prevent relative movement between the bar segments.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2011Publication date: April 26, 2012Inventors: Christian Von HOLST, Tobias HEGLER, Christof BOGE
