  • Patent number: 10449598
Abstract: A method for producing a gearwheel having an axis of rotation and a tooth system. The teeth have an axial undercut on the tooth flank sides thereof. A blank is provided having a tooth system, wherein the teeth of the tooth system are provided so as to be tilted relative to the axis of rotation such that a forming tool can advance substantially fully into the tooth flank sides of the teeth through an axial linear motion along the axis of rotation. A preliminary form of the at least one axial undercut can be provided on the tooth flank sides. A first axial forming operation is performed in the form of a first axial forging blow via which a preliminary form of the at least one axial undercut is introduced on the tooth flank sides or an already existing preliminary form of an axial undercut is sized for accuracy.

  • Patent number: 8941029
Abstract: The invention relates to methods and systems for keyhole-free fusion cutting of a workpiece, wherein the workpiece is melted by a laser beam along a cutting joint and the molten mass produced is expelled from the produced cutting joint, e.g., by a gas jet at high pressure. According to the new methods at least one laser beam follows the laser beam in the cutting direction and influences the molten mass in such a manner that at least one of the two cutting flanks of the workpiece has a better cutting quality than when cutting without the trailing laser beam.

  • Patent number: 8680949
Abstract: A network filter for connecting a converter to a 3-phase supply network includes in each phase a toroidal inductor which is connected in series with a commutation inductor at a respective first connection point, and a capacitor circuit having at least four capacitances, wherein first terminals of a first, a second and a third capacitance is connected in one-to-one correspondence to a respective one of the first connection points. Second terminals of the first, second and third capacitance are connected at a common second connection point, with a fourth capacitance being connected between ground and the common second connection point. The windings of the toroidal inductors can be formed of the connecting lines which connect the corresponding first terminals to the three phases of the supply network.

  • Publication number: 20120040126
Abstract: A blank of a machine component comprising teeth, and a method of producing a corresponding machine component. The blank has a surface provided to constitute outside-face end regions of the teeth, and has indentations, which are preferably realized by a forming operation, boundaries of the indentations constituting edge regions of the surface. In the alteration of the blank for the purpose of realizing the machine component, the teeth can be realized in such a way that remaining regions of the indentations constitute chamfers of tooth flanks of the teeth. Burr strands, which would have to be removed in a further operation, can thereby be prevented.
