  • Patent number: 11958009
Abstract: A filter device for ambient air filtration has a blower housing with air inlet and air outlet. A device for generating an air flow is arranged in the blower housing and generates an air flow in operation from air inlet to air outlet. A flexible air conducting hose is provided with a first open end connected to the air outlet of the blower housing and with a second closed end. The flexible air conducting hose has openings arranged between first open end and second closed end. Filter elements are arranged in the openings, respectively. The filter elements separate a raw side inside the air conducting hose from a clean side downstream of the filter element. The air conducting hose is inflated in operation of the device by the air flow. The flexible air conducting hose has a reduced air permeability compared to the air permeability of the filter elements.

  • Publication number: 20220034035
Abstract: The problem of increased energy usage in refiners over the working life of a refining assembly is mitigated by the use of a refiner plate segment having a refiner side and a back side distally disposed from the refiner side, refiner bars engaged to a substrate of the refiner side, wherein the refiner bars have a refiner bar height, and wherein adjacent refiner bars and the substrate define grooves between the adjacent bars, and protrusions disposed in the grooves, wherein the protrusions have a protrusion height, wherein the protrusion height is 30% or less of the refiner bar height.

  • Patent number: 10697117
Abstract: A rotor cap assembly has been conceived using multiple wedge-shaped rotor cap segments, in which the cap segments are disposed on a cap segment retainer and in which the cap segment retainer pilots the multiple rotor cap segments at a diameter intermediate the cap segments' outer diameter and the cap segments' middle diameter. By piloting multiple rotor cap segments with retaining means on the cap segment retainer and positioning means on the multiple cap segments, the rotor cap segments and cap segment retainer assembly may be fixed to a plate holder or directly to a rotor disc of a refiner without substantially altering either the plate holder or the rotor disc.

  • Patent number: 10591027
Abstract: A hydraulic traction mechanism tensioner for a traction mechanism drive of a motor vehicle, having a housing, and a valve which has an actuating element and is inserted in a fluid supply channel of the housing, wherein the valve hydraulically connects a first channel section of the fluid supply channel which opens into the pressure chamber to a hydraulic supply in a first position of the actuating element, and disconnects the first channel section from the hydraulic supply in a second position of the actuating element, wherein the valve is configured as a pressure regulating valve, wherein the actuating element can be moved beyond the second position into at least one further, third position, with the result that a volume of the first channel section is increased in comparison with the second position.

  • Publication number: 20190264389
Abstract: A flinger or refiner plate for a mechanical refiner including deep notches or holes in feeder bars of the flinger plate and/or open passages or holes in bars of the refiner plate. The open passages and/or holes in the bars significantly reduce stagnate flow zones at the trailing side of the bars during operation of the mechanical refiner. The reduction of the stagnate flow zones may reduce or eliminate fiber accumulation at the trailing side of the bars.

  • Publication number: 20180066732
Abstract: A hydraulic traction mechanism tensioner for a traction mechanism drive of a motor vehicle, having a housing, a tensioning piston which is mounted within the housing such that it can be displaced in the axial direction and encloses a hydraulic pressure chamber with the housing, and a valve which has an actuating element and is inserted in a fluid supply channel of the housing, wherein the valve hydraulically connects a first channel section of the fluid supply channel which opens into the pressure chamber to a hydraulic supply in a first position of the actuating element, and disconnects the first channel section from the hydraulic supply in a second position of the actuating element, wherein the valve is configured as a pressure regulating valve, wherein the actuating element can be moved beyond the second position into at least one further, third position, with the result that a volume of the first channel section is increased in comparison with the second position.
