Tobias Rauch has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 8975112
Abstract: The embodiments relate to a device and a method for spraying coatings of organic construction elements. The embodiments relate, in particular, to the spraying of coatings made up of components that do not dissolve in the same solvent, for example, and/or the spraying of a plurality of coatings one after the other. A plurality of spray heads is used, for example one after the other and/or next to one another.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 20, 2013
Date of Patent: March 10, 2015
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Jens Fürst, Oliver Hayden, Johannes Kern, Tobias Rauch, Tobias Sterzl, Sandro Francesco Tedde, Edgar Zaus
  • Patent number: 8637831
Abstract: An x-ray detector that is suitable for both imaging and dose rate measurement has a hybrid photoactive layer arranged between an electrode and a substrate. The hybrid photoactive layer includes a number of scintillators as well as a bulk heterojunction and is designed to produce indirect x-ray conversion. The bulk heterojunction absorbs the scintillator radiation to form electron-hole pairs that are detected electrically. The production takes place by a spraying process, in particular a co-spraying process of bulk heterojunction solution and scintillator particle suspension.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 11, 2011
Date of Patent: January 28, 2014
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Oliver Hayden, Tobias Rauch, Reiner Franz Schulz, Maria Sramek, Sandro Francesco Tedde

  • Patent number: 8507865
Abstract: An organic photodetector detects infrared radiation, particularly radiation within the spectral region of over 1100 nm, the so-called imager region. Contrary to the currently known photodetectors, such as the Bolometer, II-VI semiconductor, and quantum well detectors, the photodetector contains semiconducting nano-particles for shifting the range of detection, requires no technical and cost-intensive effort in the production thereof, and may be constructed of flexible substrates by simple printing methods.

    Filed: September 4, 2008
Date of Patent: August 13, 2013
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft
