  • Patent number: 11920971
Abstract: A static gas flowmeter for sensing a flow of gas includes an outer housing, a flow tube coupled to an outlet or an inlet, ?1 sensor positioned for sensing gas flowing through the flow tube, and a controller including a memory including a flow calibration and flow measurement algorithm coupled to a sensor receiving a sensing signal. An integrated gas valve is connected to the inlet or outlet and/or there is an additional external valve positioned outside the housing coupled to the inlet to provide the gas flowmeter at least two state operation. Using the valve(s), the flow calibration algorithm triggers a zero-flow condition, then obtains a measured gas flow, and from the measured gas flow a flow offset is determined. If the flow offset is outside a predetermined limit, in-line calibrating is performed by adding the flow offset reflected as a correction factor to the flow measurement algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20190095824
Abstract: A method for simulating the development over time of bookings situations for flights. It is proposed that a first number of hard parameters which include at least one flight schedule between at least two departure and arrival points, and a second number of soft parameters which include at least one fare for a flight between the at least two departure and arrival points, are provided, as well as a virtual environment which constitutes a representation of a real environment in which virtual passengers book flights under conditions defined in each case by the parameters. The pattern over time of the totality of all bookings is recorded and can be displayed on a display device and wherein a user influences the respective bookings situations by prior adjustment of at least one of the soft parameters.

  • Patent number: 8527034
Abstract: An input function indicative of a time-activity curve in pulmonary arterial plasma is produced from a series of PET image frames in lieu of manual blood sampling. Two manually acquired blood samples are input along with pixel values of a blood pool region of interest (ROI) in the PET image frames into a two-parameter model of the ROI's time-activity curve. In an iterative process the model converges to accurately indicate the amount of 18F-FDG tracer in the arterial blood. Pulmonary uptake of the tracer is assessed with the PET image frames and the calculated input function.
