  • Patent number: 12351948
Abstract: A method for producing a nonwoven fabric made of crimped synthetic fibers, wherein the synthetic fibers are spun and are deposited on a conveyor as a nonwoven web. The deposited nonwoven web is pre-bonded by means of at least one first hot-air bonding device, wherein a main suction air is sucked from below through the conveyor in the area of fiber deposition. A first suction air is sucked from below through the conveyor in the region of the first hot-air bonding device. • Publication number: 20250121582
Abstract: A nonwoven fabric is made by spinning filaments and depositing them on an upstream mesh belt to form a first nonwoven web thereon. Then this nonwoven web on the upstream mesh belt is preconsolidated with hot air such that the nonwoven web has a strength in a machine direction of 0.5 to 5 N/5 cm. The preconsolidated nonwoven web is then transferred from the upstream mesh belt to a downstream mesh belt and is finally consolidated on the downstream mesh belt. A temperature of an upper surface of the downstream belt is higher than a temperature of an upper surface of the upstream mesh belt.

  • Publication number: 20240141567
Abstract: An apparatus for making a spunbond nonwoven laminate having a plurality of spunbond nonwoven layers has a row extending in a travel direction of two, three, or four spinning beams each emitting a multiplicity of multicomponent crimped continuous filaments with the filaments of each beam having a degree of crimp different from that of the filaments of each of the other beams. Respective extruders supply each beam with the components of the respective filaments and respective supply units feed each of the extruders with the respective components. The rate at which the components are supplied to the extruders is adjusted for varying the proportions of the components in each filament. A conveyor extends in the direction below the beams and receives the filaments as respective layers from the respective beams.
