The break away feature may be applied to various configurations of livestock feeders. The breakaway feature is provided so as to avoid injury to the livestock and also make the livestock feeders easier to clean. Seam attachment means include, but are not limited to, hook and loop fasteners, adhesives, zippers, snaps or buttons.
