  • Patent number: 4940187
Abstract: A set of systematic equipments for recycling raw materials such as: copper, ferrous material, and different plastic materials from waste wires includes: a charging conveyor having a cutter for cutting waste wires to a predetermined length, at least a vertical conveyor for unloading the waste wires into at least a vertical scraping machine for scraping plastic coatings from the insulated copper wires, at least a screening machine following said scraping for screening the fine wire scraps, a horizontal crushing machine for crushing the coarse wire scraps into particles or powder of copper, ferrous and plastic materials, a magnetic separator for separating the ferrous material and non-ferrous material of copper and plastic materials, a classifier for separating the copper and plastic materials, and a wet gravity separator for further separating the different plastic materials having different densities and floating heights in a tank of the gravity separator.

  • Patent number: 4938670
Abstract: A rotary fluid machine includes two intermeshing rotors rotatably mounted in a double-cylinder bore portion of a casing, each rotor having two lobe portions disposed on two opposite ends of a long coordinate axis of the rotor and having a waist portion confined by two shallow recess portions formed on two opposite sides of a short coordinate axis of the rotor so that one rotor can be smoothly rotatably engageable with the other rotor in a single-point contact for a smooth running of the two rotors. For a buffer of a higher output fluid pressure, a balancing chamber is formed between the bore portion and a fluid outlet so that a fluid suddenly increased with fluid pressure may be backflowed into the bore portion through a plurality of holes formed in a partition plate between the chamber and the bore portion for preventing water or air hammer when handling high-pressure fluid.

  • Patent number: 4739533
Abstract: The apparatus comprises a low speed feeding roller on which are provided teeth, and a high speed scraping roller on which are mounted steel brush wheels. In operation, the pre-cut used wires are fed into the apparatus and the coating is scraped off by the steel brush wheels to obtain substantially exposed copper wire.
