    Abstract: An auxiliary or secondary filtration system for diverting and filtering a portion of the normal oil flow of an engine comprising a secondary filter unit having an inlet for receiving the diverted portion of the oil flow and an outlet for returning filtered oil to the engine. The outlet is connected to an existing access to the engine crankcase, such as the oil dipstick tube or the oil inlet for adding oil to the engine.
