  • Publication number: 20180213671
Abstract: A configurable data center platform includes an enclosure configured to affix to a support structure, the enclosure configured for housing one or more processing systems that form a data center, one or more transceivers configured to enable the one or more processing systems to communicate with one or more remote devices, one or more sensors; and an electrical power distribution subsystem configured to condition a received electrical current to one or more conditioned electrical currents that power the one or more processing systems and the one or more sensors, wherein the enclosure comprises a cooling system that removes heat from the one or more processing systems and the one or more sensors.

  • Publication number: 20170336061
Abstract: The technology described in this document is embodied in a sensor platform that includes an enclosure for housing one or more sensors, the enclosure configured to be deployed between a streetlight and a streetlight controller that manages operations of the streetlight. The sensor platform also includes an electrical receptacle for receiving the streetlight controller in a substantially secure configuration. The sensor platform also includes an electrical connector for connecting the enclosure to the streetlight. The sensor platform also includes at least one pass-through connector disposed within the enclosure to provide an electrical connection between the electrical connector and the electrical receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20060193262
Abstract: Data is collected at one or more construction sites using an array of wireless sensory devices distributed throughout each site. Data collected from the array of wireless sensory devices can be transmitted to a central gateway at the site, where it is forwarded to a remote server accessible over the Internet. A user, such as a general contractor in charge of the site or sites, can manually or automatically download sensory data to a client computer at any connection point to the Internet. The wireless sensory devices can be attached to identification badges carried by workers, pressure gauges on air compressors, tools used at the site, or other items at the site. The sensory devices can be used to monitor presence at the site, abnormal acceleration, position, pressure, or other predetermined conditions.

  • Publication number: 20050231354
Abstract: Remote monitoring and inspection of measurement devices, emergency equipment, parking spaces, and other items is accomplished by using a digital image sensor (e.g., a CMOS sensor) to capture a digital image containing information about the monitored item. A signal containing information about the digital image (e.g., data representing the captured digital image or data indicating the state of the captured digital image) is transmitted to a remote central station.
