Abstract: A container unit for handling containers includes a support surface arranged with a plurality of seats. Each of said sets is adapted to contain a container, and each container is provided with a container data carrier adapted to contain a unique identifier of the container. The container unit comprises at least one container unit data carrier adapted to contain data of the containers contained in the seats, said data comprising the unique identifiers of each container, and the position of each container in the seats. A nest locator is provided on the surface of the container unit. The nest locator is adapted to be the reference for mapping the position of the containers in the seats.

Abstract: System for providing marked containers comprising a computerised control system storing at least one unique identifier for each container, to be applied to a respective container, a printing unit comprising an ink delivery station, operatively connected with said computerised control system, able to print said identifier on each container, comprising a printing head filled with ink and having a plurality of nozzles configured for spraying said ink on an external surface of each container, displacement means able to perform a relative rotation, translation or rotary translation between each container and the printing head during the printing of the identifier on the container, said displacement means being operatively connected with said computerised control system.

Abstract: A method for reconciliation in a drug filling line includes providing a batch number relating to a predetermined batch of containers to be filled with a drug. Each one of the containers is marked with a unique identifier differentiating and/or identifying each container among others. Each unique identifier is stored and associated with the batch number by a processing and control unit, before starting the filling step of each container. Filled containers are flashed by at least one identifier reader to check correspondence between the batch number being processed and each filled container, in order to validate or reject in real time each container with respect to a predetermined batch being processed by the filling line.
