  • Patent number: 11807330
Abstract: An articulating footrest mechanism pivotally attached to a vehicle that is adapted for transportation and recreation of all types. The articulating footrest mechanism has a top and bottom horizontal arm, or two top and two bottom horizontal arms pivotally attached to a vehicle frame section at footrest level and adapted to move freely in a circumferential nature around fulcrums located at midpoint of each arm. The articulating footrest mechanism includes two or four vertical footrest arms connected to the top and bottom horizontal arm ends with fasteners inserted through fulcrums that comprise of roller bearings or lubricated sleeves. Footrests such as bicycle pedals, motorcycle style pegs or ATV type platforms of any size or shape fix to the left and right vertical footrest arm or arms to support the weight of a human being thereon.

  • Patent number: 11750642
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for automating a system-level security review of a network-based service. The techniques may include generating and utilizing a machine-readable threat model to identify system-level security threats to the network-based service. The network-based service may be scanned upon being provisioned in a service-provider network, and the machine-readable threat model may be generated based on results of the scan. The machine-readable threat model may represent components of the network-based service, system-level security constraints configured to identify system-level security threats to the service, and mitigations to remedy violations to the system-level security constraints. The network-based service may be continuously, or periodically, scanned to identify changes in the network-based service.

  • Patent number: 8720007
Abstract: An adjustable hinge assembly for a vehicle deck lid includes an adjustment pin received in a hinge pin that is adjustable to cause the deck lid to become flush with adjacent vehicle body structure. The adjustment pin includes a tool engagement feature that allows for adjustment of the hinge assembly from within the trunk. A second tool engagement feature allows for adjustment of the hinge from outside of the trunk.

  • Publication number: 20100042357
Abstract: A system and method for determining a position of an articulated member with respect to a predetermined plane comprise a multi-axis accelerometer mounted to a first movable member of an articulated set of members. The multi-axis accelerometer produces a sinusoidal signal in proportion to a position of the member with respect to a predetermined set of axes of a predetermined plane. An motion controller operatively in communication with the multi-axis accelerometer determines the angle of inclination as the arctangent of two readings obtained from the accelerometer.
