  • Publication number: 20220179044
Abstract: An apparatus is for generating an emulated radar reflection signal of a target moving at a relative velocity. The apparatus includes a radar detector, an emulation transmitter, and a processor. The radar detector is configured to detect radar chirps emitted by a device under test (DUT), where the chirps are emitted at random time intervals. The emulation transmitter is configured to generate emulated radar reflection signals of the target being emulated. The processor is configured to generate control signals at intervals corresponding to the random time intervals at which the radar chirps are emitted by the DUT, where each control signal controls the emulation transmitter to generate a radar reflection signal. A relative phase of the control signals is adjusted according to a duration of each of the random time intervals between successive chirps and a magnitude and sign of the relative velocity of the target.

  • Patent number: 10654091
Abstract: A method and apparatus for rebar cage construction is disclosed. A computerized controller operates an apparatus that automates parts of the rebar cage formation process. The computer controls motors for rotating the barrel and operating a wagon containing spiral coil wire. Initial rods are placed on a plurality of latitudinal conveyors. Dual cage ring assemblies are placed on the latitudinal conveyors, and notches or slots within the cage rings engage with the initial rods. The conveyors rotate the dual cage ring assemblies and a rod dispenser places a rod in additional notches. The rods, when completely installed, form a barrel structure. A wagon containing spiral coil wire is then moved longitudinally while the conveyors rotate to wrap the spiral coil wire around the barrel, to form a spiraled rebar cage.

  • Publication number: 20150363744
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for identifying persons who may be interested in acquiring a new position by tracking changes in their resumes. The present invention provides an efficient method to both prevent employee attrition and to signal to potential future employers that the person may become available soon. In general, the invention works by crawling a resume source for resumes, determining the resume owner, associating owner contact information, and tracking changes made to the resumes. If a resume is changed within a certain time period above a certain threshold activity level, then the resume owner is identified as being interested in acquiring a new position. Multiple different resumes from multiple different resume sources can also be mapped to a single owner to provide an aggregate actual resume in which changes can be tracked and used to identify employees interested in acquiring a new position.

  • Patent number: 8916005
Abstract: A slurry and slurry coating process for forming a diffusion aluminide coating on a substrate, including internal surfaces within the substrate. The process involves preparing a slurry of a powder containing a metallic aluminum alloy having a melting temperature higher than aluminum, an activator capable of forming a reactive halide vapor with the metallic aluminum, and a binder containing an organic polymer. The slurry is applied to surfaces of the substrate, which is then heated to burn off the binder, vaporize and react the activator with the metallic aluminum to form the halide vapor, react the halide vapor at the substrate surfaces to deposit aluminum on the surfaces, and diffuse the deposited aluminum into the surfaces to form a diffusion aluminide coating. The process can be tailored to selectively produce an inward or outward-type coating. The binder burns off to form an ash residue that can be readily removed.
