Abstract: When selecting a television program for recording, a user may configure the delivery of the selected television program and associated data and interactive applications to different user equipment devices in a home network, which may have different capabilities. Because the user equipment devices in the home network may have different capabilities, the user may wish to deliver different types and amount of content, different amounts of data, and different versions of interactive applications to the user equipment devices in the home network.

Abstract: A “New To Me” feature is provided for an interactive media guidance system implemented as a home network having multiple user equipment devices. Functionally speaking, the “New To Me” feature of the interactive media guidance system identifies programs or advertisements that have been previously viewed by an individual user or a user equipment device within the home network, or even by a household. The interactive media guidance system may use the information gathered regarding the programs and/or advertisements that have already been seen by a user, device or household to, for example, remove the programs or advertisements from future displays of recommendations, search results or listings of available programming.

Abstract: A system is provided based on user equipment such as a set-top box or computer with which an interactive television program guide is implemented. The system may gather information on the television viewing and music listening habits of a user and the user's interactions with the program guide. The user may adjust settings in the interactive television program guide. When the user equipment is turned on, the interactive television program guide may automatically tune the user equipment to an appropriate digital music channel or television channel. This channel may be selected based on the user's television viewing habits, music listening habits, the user's interactions with the program guide, or the settings selected by the user. Information on the user's interests may be stored in a history database. The information in the history database may be used to generate television program reminders for the user.

Abstract: An interactive television system is provided in which a user may perform playback control functions while watching a broadcast television program. When the user requests such a function, a television distribution facility may transmit an interactive streaming media version of the program to the user's equipment. The user equipment switches the broadcast television program with the interactive streaming media version. The interactive streaming media version, once displayed on the given user's user equipment, may be controlled by the user with playback control functions.

Abstract: A filament attachment system includes a bond head comprising a de-spooling system with a spool and balanced dancer arm assembly, a clamp having a curved filament entry, a narrower gripping region, and a wider filament exit, and a bond tool comprising a guide portion, a grooving portion, and a staking portion. The grooving portion forms a groove into a bond and the staking portion closes the groove over the filament, securing the filament in the bond. Thus, the filament can be attached with a single pass of the bond head using a single bond.

Abstract: A vehicle tailgate and bed arrangement is disclosed. The tailgate is movable over a range of motion between an open and a closed position. The vehicle bed surface has a rear edge and the tailgate includes a convexly arced surface defining a gap with the rear edge. The convexly arced surface maintains the gap at a substantially constant width along the entire range of motion of the tailgate. The constant gap width prevents any debris from collecting in the gap between the tailgate and the bed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for building media lists are provided in which media may be tagged, listed and subsequently accessed. Media indicators such as advertisements promotions, programming embedded merchandise, and other suitable indicators may be displayed to promote various media such as television programming, pay-per-view programming, video-on-demand programming, Web sites, and any other suitable programming. Users may tag the media associated with media indicators for inclusion in a media list. This media list may be presented to the user so that user can select and view media associated with a media indicator previously stored in the list. This may provide users with ability to store a list of opportunities of interest, and to view the information related to the opportunities at a later time.

Abstract: An interactive television application is provided in which advertisements may be targeted based on current media. Targeted advertisements may be displayed in displays such as program guide information screens and video overlays. Advertisements are targeted and selected for display or excluded from display based on identifying which advertisements are associated with a current media or recently watched media. Media groupings are provided to associate media with groups of advertisements. Selection of advertisements for each media grouping can be based on programs, channels, network affiliation, sponsorship, genre or other suitable criteria.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing metadata-selected advertisements are provided. These systems and methods may receive metadata and other media, select an object, read metadata attached to or associated with the selected object, select an advertisement based on the metadata, and display the selected advertisement. In addition, monitoring, collecting, and recording of predefined data concerning metadata selected advertisements may be provided. The invention also provides a receiver for receiving signals and/or data (e.g., programs, advertisements, program guides, metadata, etc.) and a processor for accepting a user's input signal, selecting an object, reading metadata attached to or associated with a selected object, selecting an advertisement, and displaying the selected advertisement.

The proximal spray head is positioned towards and spaced apart from a proximal end of the pipe. The distal spray head is positioned adjacent a distal end of the pipe. The pipe has a main valve between the proximal and distal spray heads to selective open and close passage of fluid therethrough from the proximal end of the pipe to the distal spray head.
