  • Publication number: 20240154685
Abstract: A technology is described for a repeater comprising a modem configured to function as a time division duplex (TDD) uplink/downlink modem configured as a scanning sync detection module (SDM) configured to determine an UL/DL configuration information and scan channels for monitoring information. The modem can be configured to: identify one or more frequency ranges associated with a plurality of cellular carriers; scan the one or more frequency ranges; identify monitoring information that includes cellular carrier specific information for the one or more frequency ranges associated with the plurality of cellular carriers; and provide the monitoring information to the repeater for communication to the remote server.

  • Patent number: 10290070
Abstract: A system and method for automatically integrating data with guidelines to generate displays containing the guidelines and data. The automated system and method can integrate patient data with treatment guidelines to assist a healthcare provider, such as a physician or the like, in providing treatment to the patient. The system and method employ a data storage component, adapted to store guideline data representing guidelines for assessing a condition of an entity, guidelines for taking action on the entity, or both, and to store feature data representing at least one feature of the entity. The system and method further employ an output device, adapted to output at least one diagram representing the guideline data, with the diagram including at least one component representing a relationship of at least a portion of the feature data to at least a portion of the guideline data.

  • Patent number: 8704960
Abstract: A deployment system for user interface devices with enhanced interface capabilities and methods for manufacturing and using same. The deployment system includes a main rotating joint system and a device mounting assembly that are coupled via an extension support system. The main rotating joint system enables the deployment system to be installed at any suitable installation location, such as an armrest; whereas, the device mounting assembly is configured to receive a selected user interface device. Advantageously, the deployment system provides an enlarged internal channel for accommodating larger communication cables and a progressive clutch system for supporting the increased weight of the user interface devices. The deployment system thereby can maintain near-constant tension during deployment of the user interface devices, inhibiting drop injuries to users and damage to the user interface devices.

  • Publication number: 20090276803
Abstract: Methods, systems, and techniques for providing near real-time streaming of broadcast content, such as television, using peer-to-peer techniques are provided. Example embodiments provide a P2P Streaming Internet Television System (“PSITS”), which enables television content to be encoded, encrypted, and distributed to one or more Internet-ready player computing devices (players) using peer-to-peer computing technology in a closed secure environment. In one embodiment, the PSITS comprises one or more encoders, one or more trackers, one or more seeders, and one or more players, which communicate using a secure protocol in a closed system, which insures the integrity of encoded encrypted signal data to point of presentation on the players. This abstract is provided to comply with rules requiring an abstract, and it is submitted with the intention that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.
