  • Publication number: 20220341304
Abstract: A hydraulic fracturing fluid delivering system includes at least one fracturing fluid delivering unit that is configured with a low-pressure flow line assembly, a high-pressure flow line assembly, and a plurality of cross beams. The plurality of cross beams is evenly spaced along the low-pressure flow line assembly. The plurality of cross beams is welded onto the low-pressure flow line assembly to structurally strengthen the fracturing fluid delivering unit. The high-pressure flow line assembly is positioned atop the plurality of cross beams and mounted to the plurality of cross beams so that the multiple high-pressure flow line assemblies are able to structurally strengthen the hydraulic fracturing fluid delivering system.

  • Publication number: 20220228449
Abstract: A method of retrofitting a sleeve apparatus to repair high-pressure flow iron corrosion is conducted between a flow iron male pipe-end and a flow iron female pipe-end. First, the union between the two pipe-ends are disassembled to identify a corrected internal surface of the female pipe-end. Then, the corroded internal surface is drilled and cleaned to delineate a sleeve cavity that is identical to an external surface of a sleeve body. The sleeve body is then connected to the female pipe-end via the sleeve cavity. The male pipe-end and the female pipe-end are then compressed together with a second O-ring seal in between. A nut that was removed during the disassembling process is threaded around the male pipe-end and the female pipe-end to complete the retrofitting method.

  • Publication number: 20210316958
Abstract: An assembly for an adjustable expansion spool that accommodates various lengths of pipe and can be adjusted in the field to a customized length to connect two pipes. One embodiment of the adjustable expansion spool has a main body that has one end inserted into a first connection box and a second end inserted into a second connection box. Both the first connection box and the second connection box can be capable of being coupled to a first flange and a second flange respectively. Both flanges encircle the main body and have an annular groove. Housed between the flanges and a ring groove on the main body is a ring. By adjusting the length between the second flange and a peripheral flange on the second connection box, the adjustable expansion spool can be expanded or contracted, depending on the needs of the user on site in the field.

  • Publication number: 20210317931
Abstract: A system and method for creating a union connection that is hammerless and torque-less. In one embodiment, the union connection has a male pipe that is inserted into a collar. A plurality of ring segments of a segmented ring is inserted and housed in a groove between the inner surface of the collar and the outer surface of the male pipe. Then a female pipe is inserted into the collar as well. The female pipe engages with the male pipe, and is engaged with the collar. Lastly, a pin is inserted into a hole in the collar that is coaxial with a pocket located on the exterior surface of the female pipe.

  • Publication number: 20210317934
Abstract: A retaining ring system and method of use for fastening two components together. The retaining ring in one embodiment can have a hexagon cross-sectional shape, and in use can be housed between two grooves on adjacent conduits that can have an isosceles trapezoidal shape. The grooves can be configured so that if a bearing surface of one component having a perpendicular line emanating away from it would cross somewhere along an opposite bearing surface of the second component.

  • Publication number: 20210317920
Abstract: A diverter system for directing fluid from an inlet port to a selected outlet port. In one embodiment, a high-pressure fluid and proppant received from a missile can enter a diverter through an inlet port and travel to a well head via a Christmas tree or fracturing stack. The diverter system can have a plug housed in the diverter body that connects to the inlet port. The diverter body has at least one outlet port to which the plug can connect the inlet port. The plug can be configured to connect to one outlet port at a time so that a single wellhead can be singled out to experience a fracturing stage. Once the fracturing stage is complete, another wellhead can be singled out, and the previous well sealed off so that other operations can be performed.

  • Patent number: 10774965
Abstract: A rotatable flanged component is adapted for assembly into a flow line of a high-pressure fluid transportation system. The rotatable flanged component comprises a body and a conduit. The body has at least two ends. The conduit extends between the ends. The rotatable component also has a flange and a union face at each of the ends. The flanges and union faces are adapted to provide a flange union between the component and other flowline components at each the body end. At least one of the flanges is a rotatable flange. The rotatable flange has a central opening and a plurality of holes. The holes are adapted to accommodate threaded connectors for loading the flange with an axial force. The flange is mounted on the body end through the central opening for rotation and for transmission of the axial force to the body end.

  • Publication number: 20200200272
Abstract: A system and method for utilizing hyper-elastomeric material to create a seal between two surfaces in a valve in order to inhibit the seepage of fluidic material and particles from entering a valve cavity that can damage the assembly. The hyper-elastomeric compression of the hyper-elastomeric material is performed by utilizing hyper-elastomeric compression or a combination of hyper-elastomeric compression and traditional compression methods.

  • Patent number: 10161211
Abstract: A system and method for locking together a running tool and a tubular member to rotate the tubular member. The system includes a tubular member and a running tool adapted to engage in a mechanical connection such that the running tool and the tubular member are arranged concentrically and moveable longitudinally together. The system includes a locking assembly adapted to lock the tubular member and the running tool together once the tubular member and the running tool are engaged in the mechanical connection, so that torque applied to the running tool is applied to the tubular member through the locking assembly to rotate the running tool and the tubular member synchronously. The locking assembly is adapted to unlock the tubular member and the running tool when the tubular member is landed on a shoulder of an outer tubular member so that the mechanical connection can then be disengaged.

  • Publication number: 20160216059
Abstract: A pneumatic firearm firing system is utilized to discharge a projectile from a firearm utilizing propulsion provided by a pneumatic propellant. A pressurized projectile retainer is utilized to concentrically hold a projectile under pressure due to a quantity of compressed gas provided from a compressed gas vessel. The quantity of compressed gas is held within a fluid conduit that is engaged into the pressurized projectile retainer. The pressurized projectile retainer is engaged into a front end of a firearm bolt. When a trigger of the firearm is pulled, a flexible collared portion of the pressurized projectile retainer is projected forward from a rigid collared portion of the firearm bolt, releasing the projectile from the pressurized projectile retainer and causing the projectile to be propelled forward due to the propulsion provided by the quantity of compressed gas.
