Abstract: A raw water isolator for watercraft for providing treated fluid to loop of air conditioning units, freezers, ice makers, gyro stabilizers and the like systems. The raw water isolator provides a closed loop of treated fluid to prevent such systems from exposure to raw water known to contain biological material capable of fouling the units, and associated corrosion when salt water is used for the cooling mechanism. The apparatus employs a storage and expansion tank for holding a volume of fluid that is circulated through the marine units. A heat exchanger selected for ease of cleaning provides heat transfer between the cooling fluid and raw water.
