    Abstract: A process for making coated detergent granules by producing detergent granules and then uniformly distributing finely divided powder onto the surfaces of the detergent granules by means of an electrostatic charging and delivery system. The detergent granules are comprised of from about 10 to 20 weight % water so that the finely divided powder adheres to the moist detergent granules even after the electrostatic change dissipates.
