Abstract: An information seeker can graphically define a spatial sub-region of a geographic area and a predicate to be applied to objects and/or events in that sub-region. A system can then provide and/or evaluate information about entities that fall within the sub-region and that satisfy the predicate. The boundary of the sub-region may be defined as an arbitrary polygon. The information to be provided can be raw information about the entities, or information that is derived from analysis of those entities that satisfy the spatial predicate. The display of information about object and/or events that fall within a sub-region can be displayed on what may be referred to as a spatial dashboard.
