Abstract: A torch device is provided. The torch device includes an elongated member and a support member attached adjacent one end of the elongated member. A receiving container is connected to the elongated member by the support member. The receiving container includes a side wall portion and a base wall portion connected to the side wall portion and defines a cup-like receiving chamber within the side wall portion for holding an associated fluid. A seal between the side wall portion and the base wall portion for preventing the associated fluid from escaping the receiving chamber by passing between the side wall portion and the base wall portion is provided. A wick is partially received within the receiving chamber and partially extends outward therefrom.
