  • Publication number: 20070277360
Abstract: Apparatus for mounting a blade on an ice resurfacing machine is disclosed and comprises a frame, a tray and a jack. The frame is wheeled for movement across a floor surface. The tray is for supporting the blade, has an upper side and is capable of supporting said blade during use of the apparatus so that the blade from front to rear edges thereof extends at an acute angle to the floor, at which angle said blade is suitably orientated for attachment to said machine. The jack is mounted on the frame, supports the tray and is adapted to move the tray between a lowered position, whereat the blade can be arranged on the tray at said acute angle, and an elevated position, whereat the blade can be secured to said machine when the apparatus is operatively positioned beneath said machine.
