  • Publication number: 20140358754
Abstract: A donation may be made through a mobile platform. In some instances, a particular series of pages may be provided through a mobile device to enable a user to donate in a relatively small number of steps. The series of pages may allow a user who has previously registered with the platform to relatively quickly identify a non-profit organization to which to make a donation, submit an amount of funds for the donation, and view feedback information related to donation activities associated with the user. Donation activity data from a plurality of devices may also be analyzed to generate donation information. In some instances, the donation information may provide information regarding types of donations that are being made, times and location of donations, types of users that are making donations, and so on.

  • Patent number: 7720013
Abstract: A method and system for analyzing continuous bit segments taken from a general data channel and classifying the sampled data by type, such as: voice, audio or data. B contiguous bits are converted to plus and minus deltas. The B-replaced values are then padded with B contiguous zeroes and the Fourier Transform of the padded sequence is computed. A power spectral density is derived from the Fourier Transform. In addition to the Fourier Transform, compression and entropy algorithms are performed on strings of bits within the message. The first B terms of the power spectral density and the results of the compression and entropy algorithms are used to differentiate and classify the data types, based on the premise that the combination of power spectral density, compression and entropy results yields parameters indicative of distinct types of data messages.

  • Patent number: 6781540
Abstract: A radar system may include an antenna, a waveform generator for generating a plurality of waveforms for different polarizations and/or having different frequency components, and a transmitter connected to the waveform generator for transmitting the plurality of waveforms via the antenna. Moreover, the radar system may also include a receiver connected to the antenna for receiving reflected signals from targets, and a processor for iteratively deconvolving the reflected signals to generate target data. More particularly, the radar system and targets may be relatively movable with respect to one another, and the processor may therefore store reflected signals over a length of relative movement and generate the target data based upon the stored signals to thus provide a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system or an inverse SAR (ISAR) system.

  • Patent number: 5938279
Abstract: A dynamic head restraint mount (18) includes an low swinging impact plate (22) which swings back below a seat back frame top tube (10) in response to a sudden vehicle deceleration. As it swings back, the plate (22) causes the upper ends of a pair of upstanding head restraint support post guide tubes (24) to rock forwardly of the top tube (10), tilting the head restraint 14 forward. Concurrently, a linkage activated by the same impact plate (22) motion independently causes the support posts (12) of the head restraint (14) to slide up to a consistent highest position above the top tube (10), regardless of the adjusted position within the guide tubes (24) from which the support posts (12) began.
