  • Publication number: 20160160456
Abstract: A slow curing polymer system used as a repairing and maintenance solution in covering potholes. The polymer system comprises of a hydrophobic barrier coat in the form of a polymer film that is formed due to a polymer reaction that happens when a polymer mixture is applied or poured on to the surface of the potholes. The polymer mixture is time cured to maintain a liquid state to fill all voids and crevices prior to hardening and eventually attains self-leveling with the applied surface and is referred to as hydrophobic barrier coat. Further, an additional polymer foam can be applied on the polymer hydrophobic base coat that provides for filling of the void an adequate adhesion on upper surface of the polymer foam to adhere the applique. The complete polymer system fills and covers one or more potholes as a repairing and maintenance solution.

  • Patent number: 8539724
Abstract: Electrical power is generated from solar and wind sources thus reducing the need for fuel oil at military forward operating bases and main operating bases. A wind turbine and a solar cell panel are connected to a battery bank. Both the turbine and the solar cells are stored in two standard military shipping containers. When transported to the desired location, these sub-systems are easily set up for operation. The entire apparatus may be disassembled for re-transport and use at another location. Necessary container modifications to connect the system for use are made in such a way as not to alter the container's outside envelope, thus enabling normal transport of the container without damage to the modifications. Each of the solar cells have discs attached so that the solar panel can be assembled in the field by sliding each disc into a mounting channel.

  • Patent number: 8496015
Abstract: A standard military transportation container is positioned next to a waste water containment pad. Several connections are provided for on the side of container. One of these connectors is a fluid connection for containment pad relocatable waste water sump pump. Another of the connectors provides a power outlet for the system to be connected to an external source of electrical power. A third connector connects a pressure washer to the wash system. A vacuum cleaner connection, is provided on an opposite side of the container so that equipment may be vacuumed and washed simultaneously on opposite sides of the wash system. All connectors are flush mounted into the walls of container thus eliminating any protrusions which could otherwise interfere with container loading resulting in connector breakage and extra difficulties in container handling. A pressure washer, vacuum cleaner, pumps and electrical controls are located in the container.

  • Publication number: 20100126545
Abstract: A rapidly deployable military vehicle repair facility has a shelter constructed so that in can be put up with three people and a 12 foot ladder. A special tool is utilized to mount sections of the shelter support poles into place for connection. The ends of the poles are color coded so that can be easily matched for assembly. The shelter front door has an integrated detachable particulate screen portion. When the dual filter/ventilation system is running 24,000 CFM of air is drawn in through the facility and exhausted through the rear exhaust systems (12,000 CFM per system). The integrated particulate screen prevents dirt, dust, and other contaminants from being drawn into the facility and damaging the vehicle finish while eliminating the need to replace disposable air intake filters—the integrated particulate screens also eliminate another potential waste product from the system—dirty, disposable fiberglass filters.

  • Patent number: 7338227
Abstract: A touch up system for applying small quantities of single or multi-component liquids to small surface areas. Each material or component is packaged, in the correct proportion, in a fluorinated plastic bottle. A dense foam roller is attached to the base component bottle. One of the other bottles utilize a spout tip cap to puncture an inductive barrier seal that is present on the opening of the base component bottle. Exposure to all coating components is eliminated and waste is minimized since material remaining in the bottle is minimal and can be disposed of by conventional methods. An angled roller wiper surface and an angled liquid output surface are provided.

  • Patent number: 5944535
Abstract: A connection system for a computer network includes a computer terminal (12), wall outlet (16), a patch panel (28), an interface panel (32) and a network hub (36). A terminal jack (14) on the computer terminal and an outlet jack (18) on the wall terminal are connected by a patch cord (20). The patch panel has a plurality of patch modular jacks (40), each of which is connected to an interface modular jack (46) by a patch cord (34). An elongated receptacle (48) is mounted on the interface panel and is connected to the modular jacks of the interface panel by a wiring board (50). The wiring board has conductive paths which connect the terminals of the interface modular jacks with the terminals of the elongated receptacle and cancel crosstalk. The network hub is connected to the interface connector by a patch cord (38).

  • Patent number: 5765698
Abstract: A panel assembly has a bracket with support elements for mounting the bracket on a wall. First and second panels are attached to the bracket by a bracket hinge for pivotal movement about a first pivot axis relative to the bracket between a closed position and an open position. A panel hinge couples the first panel to the second panel for pivotal movement of the first panel relative to the second panel about a second pivot axis between open and closed positions. The pivot axes are angularly oriented.
