Patent number: 11916362Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cable tray fitting with tray connector and a flexible membrane with opposite longitudinal ends. The tray connectors are secured to the opposite longitudinal with each being secured to one of a pair of adjacent cable tray sections. The flexible membrane allows relative movement between the cable tray sections. The disclosure provides a cable tray assembly including first and second cable tray sections each with a longitudinal end. The cable tray assembly includes a cable tray fitting secured to and disposed between the longitudinal ends of the first and second cable tray sections. The disclosure provides a method of assembling a cable tray assembly by securing a cable tray fitting to opposing and adjacent longitudinal ends of first and second cable tray sections and allowing the cable tray sections to move in three dimensions relative to one another by virtue of the flexible membrane.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 2022Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: EATON INTELLIGENT POWER LIMITEDInventors: Jacob L. Publication number: 20110199557Abstract: A light directing film and an optical system incorporating same are disclosed. The light directing film includes a first major surface and a microstructured second major surface. The microstructured second major surface has at least two periodic microstructured patterns. The first periodic pattern is arranged along a first direction. The second periodic pattern is arranged along a second direction different from the first direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2011Publication date: August 18, 2011Inventors: Todd M. Publication number: 20110181971Abstract: An approach for making a master tool used to fabricate optical films involves cutting a series of base structures. Modifying features are superimposed with the base structures, producing abruptly discontinuous variations in the shape of the base structures. Diffraction elements may be formed in one or both of the base structures and the modifying features. The modifying features can be formed by moving the cutting tool in the x-direction, in the z-direction, or along a trajectory having both an x component and a z component.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 1, 2009Publication date: July 28, 2011Inventors: Alan B. Patent number: 5798921Abstract: An audio system is disclosed wherein music cartridges are utilized in a series of cartridge racks for non-mechanical playback and recordation of an entire music collection. The audio signals are stored on music cartridges which are insertable into one of a plurality of cartridge racks. The cartridge racks are operatively connected with the music player of the audio system. The audio system is completely solid state, i.e. it has no moving parts and has the advantages of allowing quick and reliable playback and storage of any music cartridge of the user's entire selection, as desired by the user. The system is self-programmable and expandable, whereby additional cartridge racks can be connected for additional storage of music cartridges allowing any music cartridge from the entire collection to be accessed at anytime.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 1995Date of Patent: August 25, 1998Inventors: Todd M. Johnson, Robert Ramion, Wilbur Johnson

Patent number: 4869497Abstract: A computer controlled exercise machine in which the user selects an exercise mode and its profile by programming the computer. Signals are produced by the program to control a resistive force producing device. Sensors produce data signals corresponding to the force applied to the actuating member of the system, velocity of movement and angular position which are continuously sampled at a high rate by a microprocessor operating under control of the program. The sampled data values are used to update and display performance results for the exercise and to compute the values of other parameters and, in some exercise modes, to control the amount of the resistive force.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 1987Date of Patent: September 26, 1989Assignee: Universal Gym Equipment, Inc.Inventors: Gary D.
