  • Patent number: 11973899
Abstract: Systems, devices, and technical methods of the present disclosure use an edge appliance to facilitate seamless interoperability between a cloud emergency call management system and call-center systems that are situated onsite in an emergency call center. When an emergency call is received from a caller device, the CECMS routes the call to a call taker who may be working remotely on a telecommunication device. The CECMS transmits a duplicate of audio data and other data that is exchanged between the caller device and the telecommunication device during the call to the edge appliance. The edge appliance converts the audio data and the other data into formats that are compatible with the call-center systems and uses a virtual construct that represents the telecommunication device to transmit the converted data to the call-center systems through a network to which both the edge appliance and the call-center systems are connected.

  • Publication number: 20150183567
Abstract: A mattress package having a barrier layer which encapsulates the entire mattress, two skid pads which cover and protect the top and bottom portion of the mattress, and two side trays which cover and protect the left and right sides of the mattress. The side trays cover a portion of the skid pads and the entire assembly is banded by two or more securing bands. Two or more handles are positioned on the front and back surfaces of the side trays on both the left and right sides. The handles provide grips for the mattress package to facilitate handling. The mattress package provides sufficient strength and protection to the mattress while utilizing a minimal amount of packaging materials.

  • Publication number: 20120180224
Abstract: Densified fiber structures are incorporated into mattress constructions and bedding Applications. In one embodiment, a mattress innerspring is combined with one or more densified fiber structures which fit with the innerspring and with other components of the mattress. An innerspring perimeter support made of densified fiber may encase the outer perimeter of the innerspring and provide structural side walls to the mattress. In another embodiment and application, the inner cavity of one or more coils of a mattress innerspring may be substantially filled with densified fiber. In yet another embodiment, the general space between the coils of the innerspring may be filled with densified fiber.
