  • Patent number: 9398467
Abstract: An approach is provided for causing an extension of secure emergency network resources via one or more trusted point of presence. The approach involves determining a networking context, wherein the networking context initiates a request to join an extension mesh network to a currently trusted network. The approach also involves determining a target network trust level associated with the networking context, the currently trusted network, or a combination thereof. The approach further involves selecting the extension mesh network based on the target network trust level. The approach also involves initiating a joining of the extension mesh network to the currently trusted network.

  • Patent number: 7048279
Abstract: A gasket assembly is formed at least two carrier layers laminated together and formed with at least one opening through the carrier corresponding to openings across a parting plane of two members to be sealed. an elastomeric seal is molded to the carrier to define sealing beads on opposite sides of the carrier adjacent the opening with respective contact surfaces which engage the members to be scaled. The sealing contact surfaces are asymmetrically arranged contact surfaces are asymmetrically arranged relative to one another across the carrier to accommodate associated misalignment of the openings of the members to be sealed across the parting plane.

  • Patent number: 6523561
Abstract: An oil reservoir for a vehicle transmission includes a separately formed oil pan and suction tube each formed of plastics material. A filter cartridge is disposed about a lower end portion of the suction tube to filter oil entering an oil inlet of the suction tube at the lower end. The suction tube and floor of the oil pan have snap-together connecting structure. To assemble the suction tube with the floor of the oil pan, the tube is simply pressed toward the pan causing the connecting structure to engage with a snap-fit connection.
