  • Patent number: 12094303
Abstract: The invention relates to systems and methods of revealing portions of outcomes of real-world wagers through interactive media by storing reserve wagers, receiving an indication a first token has been acquired by a user, determining a tracking wager associated with the first token, matching a stored reserve wager with the tracking wager, associating the matched reserve wager with the first token, and revealing at least a portion of the outcome of the matched reserve wager to the user by the user's interaction with the interactive media. By integrating real-world wager outcomes with user interactions, the system may provide an engaging user experience with interactive media. For example, a game may reveal an outcome of a real-world wager (which has already occurred), in response to in-game actions such as user actions in the game, other players' actions, game events, and/or other events.

  • Publication number: 20220411738
Abstract: A cell culture system is provided that includes a cell culture vessel having an interior cavity to house a cell culture substrate in a cell culture space, and at least one port for at least one of fluid inlet to the interior cavity and fluid outlet from the interior cavity. The system further includes a piston having a distal end disposed in the cell culture vessel above the cell culture space, the distal end of the piston being sealed with an airtight seal within the interior cavity. The system also includes a driver coupled to the piston to move the piston so as to increase and decrease a distance between the distal end and the cell culture space. The driver can pressurize the interior cavity via actuation of the piston to harvest cells from the cell culture space through the at least one port.

  • Publication number: 20220313278
Abstract: A depth stop for a drilling tool to form a hole of predetermined depth. The depth stop includes an interface portion that couples directly to the shank of the osteotome via interlocking spur and groove features. The interface has a cap flange and a tapered skirt. The underside of the cap flange establishes a reference surface for a tubular key that slides onto the tapered skirt and is held there by friction. The skirt is formed with a relief directly under the cap flange to facilitate haptic confirmation of proper connection. Elongated irrigation windows in the key expose a domed transition on the osteotome, thereby facilitating irrigation. The depth stop can be used, optionally, with an alignment jig designed with a precision guide bushing. The guide bushing is semi-cylindrical and terminates with an internal abutment step against which the lower end of the key engages at full depth.
