  • Publication number: 20250049252
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a selected volume of water at a specified temperature. The dispenser includes a source of water at an elevated temperature and a source of water at a lower temperature. An electronic controller determines the volume of water needed from each source in order to arrive at the selected volume and temperature. The dispenser uses a recirculation valve to circulate at least the elevated temperature water in the tank and in the outlet in order to ensure the temperature of the water is as expected throughout the system to achieve the specified temperature.

  • Publication number: 20240420670
Abstract: A computing system, and corresponding method, are disclosed that extracts visual features from a visual dataset, including features related to facial recognition or human expressions. The computing system further identifies audio features corresponding to the visual features. It utilizes an audio-scoring artificial intelligence (AI) engine to compose an audio score to present the visual features. The AI engine is trained to generate audio scores based on the audio features corresponding to the visual features, enhancing the overall presentation of the visual dataset.

  • Patent number: 12107709
Abstract: A PPM-modulated signal is based on a format comprising (i) N data slots per symbol period, (ii) guard slots separating the data slots, and (iii) the symbols are encoded by the position of pulses within the data slots. Timing synchronization of the receiver to an incoming PPM-modulated signal is achieved as follows. The incoming PPM-modulated signal is processed to generate slot detection signals, which are indicative of a presence of a pulse in a corresponding one of the N data slots. A timing correction signal is generated based on a difference between (a) accumulated slot detection signals for receiver data slot 1, and (b) accumulated slot detection signals for receiver data slot N. Timing of the receiver is adjusted based on the timing correction signal.

  • Patent number: 12100374
Abstract: A method for training one or more AI models for generating audio scores accompanying visual datasets includes obtaining training data comprising a plurality of audiovisual datasets and analyzing each of the plurality of audiovisual datasets to extract multiple visual features, textual features, and audio features. The method also includes correlating the multiple visual features and textual features with the multiple audio features via a machine learning network. Based on the correlations between the visual features, textual features, and audio features, one or more AI models are trained for composing one or more audio scores for accompanying a given dataset.

  • Publication number: 20240119356
Abstract: A probabilistic method for determining an operability interval for fasteners in a nuclear power plant assembly includes providing a geometric distribution of a given initial condition of fasteners in the nuclear power plant assembly at an initial time T0; generating a plurality of random future fastener failure patterns by applying a fastener failure probability model to the geometric distribution at a given time T1>T0; inputting the plurality of random future fastener failure patterns at time T1 into a machine learning model and outputting stresses of the fasteners and displacements of the components; iterating, by a processor of a computer, the applying and inputting steps for a given range of time values T2, T3, . . .
