  • Patent number: 6720373
Abstract: Water-continuous emulsion of curable elastomeric polymers are disclosed having a solids content of greater than 75%, an average particle size less than 5 &mgr;m, and having sufficient stability to produce a stable lower solids emulsion upon dilution with water comprising; a curable elastomeric polymer, surfactant, internal cure additive, water, optional plasticizer, and optional low molecular weight acid. The water-continuous emulsions of curable elastomeric polymers can be prepared by; (I) forming a premix comprising an elastomeric polymer, surfactant, internal cure additive, and optionally a plasticizer and low molecular weight acid, and (II) adding water to the premix with mixing to form a water continuous emulsion of the curable elastomeric polymer having a solids content of greater than 75%, an average particle size less than 5 &mgr;m, and having sufficient stability to produce a stable lower solids emulsion upon dilution with water.

  • Patent number: 6707501
Abstract: The handle grip and electronic controls of a handle control for a lens zoom speed control are ergonomically designed to provide quick comfortable access to all of the control switches. While grasping the rubberized foam handle grip in the palm of the hand of the operator, a thumb engages and holds a push button or rocker switch to switch between the wide angle and telephoto mode. Simultaneously, an inner edge of the forefinger engages and rotates a speed control dial to increase or decrease the speed of lens zoom in the selected wide angle or telephoto mode as controlled by engagement of the thumb with the appropriate mode switch. Rotation of the speed control dial away from the operator (in a counterclockwise direction), causes an increased speed of zooms whereas rotation of the dial towards the operator (in a clockwise direction) decreases the speed of zoom (in the selected wide angle or telephoto mode).

  • Patent number: 6389273
Abstract: A processor controlled FM receiver implements a technique for reducing adjacent channel interference without requiring additional components. Initially, the technique determines whether a desired channel has interference. If so, signal information on adjacent channels is collected. The desired channel is then shifted away from one of the adjacent channels if the collected signal information indicates that only one of the adjacent channels is appreciably interfering with the desired channel.

  • Patent number: 5735555
Abstract: A connector assembly for connecting a fuel rail and an inlet tube having an inlet tube end and a raised annular flange a predetermined distance from its end includes a connector body and an annular clip. The connector body is attached to the fuel rail and includes an outwardly extending shoulder. The annular clip has a periphery with a generally U-shaped cross section including an inner leg and outer leg. The inner leg is inclined inwardly for engaging the inlet tube annular flange and the outer leg includes a resilient locking portion biased inwardly for withdrawal restraining engagement with the connector body outwardly extending shoulder. The annular clip is mountable on the inlet tube beyond the raised annular flange. The inlet tube is telescopingly received in the connector body and axially engaged as the locking portion of the annular clip is urged into engagement with the connector body outwardly extending shoulder.
