  • Patent number: 11294484
Abstract: A method for facilitating the validation of an action by a user utilizing a touch screen device having a processor executing software commands includes providing an initial screen via a GUI displaying certain data fields and functional icons of a particular application. On the touch screen an initial active area is designated in association with certain data fields and functional icons. An end user interacts with the touch screen device generating an input signal. The input signal is received from the touch screen active area by the processor requesting an action. Upon receipt of the input signal, a validation active area on the touch screen is visually displayed. The validation active area is monitored for a secondary input signal generated by an end user interacting with the validation active area. The initial active area is monitored for determining an input signal in association with the initial active area is present.

  • Patent number: 11086973
Abstract: A method includes receiving, from a user via an electronic device, input representing a password to be utilized for an account; automatically determining, utilizing a processor, a complexity value for the input password; automatically determining, based on the determined complexity value, security settings for the account; receiving, from a user via an electronic device, input representing an attempt to login to the account, the input representing an attempt to login to the account including an attempted password; automatically determining that the attempted password does not match the password to be utilized for the account; and determining a course of action to take in response to the determination that the attempted password does not match the password to be utilized for the account, the course of action being determined based at least in part on the automatically determined security settings for the account.

  • Patent number: 10769232
Abstract: A method according to one embodiment includes outputting one page of a multipage compilation of information. The method also includes receiving a request to show portions of multiple pages of the multipage compilation of information, the request originating from a user input device and including an indication of which portions of the multiple pages of the multipage compilation to select. Also, the method includes selecting the portions of the multiple pages of the multipage compilation of information according to the indication and generating a view having the selected portions. Moreover, the method includes outputting the view having the selected portions to a graphical display device. The selected portions output to the graphical display device include a selectable number of first cells of each first row of each of the multiple pages. Other systems, methods, and computer program products are described in accordance with more embodiments.

  • Publication number: 20190073368
Abstract: A method includes calculating, for each unique pair of search results of a plurality of search results, a first similarity value; automatically determining that the determined first similarity value for one or more of the unique pairs exceeds a similarity value threshold; iterating through similarity value calculations, until a similarity value is recalculated for each of the one or more unique pairs for which the first similarity value exceeded the similarity value threshold; and displaying the plurality of search results, each search result including display of data corresponding to default fields, and data corresponding to any looked up field that was necessary to cause a recalculated similarity value to fall below a threshold similarity value for any unique pair that search result belongs to.
