  • Publication number: 20200254802
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for applying a transfer material onto one or more surfaces of an article are disclosed, including apparatuses and methods of transfer printing on and/or decorating three-dimensional articles, as well as the articles printed and/or decorated thereby. The apparatuses and methods may include providing a deposition device, such as a printing device; providing a transfer component; depositing a material onto a portion of the transfer component with the deposition device; modifying the portion of the transfer component with the transfer material thereon to conform the transfer component to at least a portion of one or more surfaces of the three-dimensional article; and transferring the transfer material onto the one or more surfaces of the article.
    Type: Application
    Filed: February 11, 2020
    Publication date: August 13, 2020
Inventors: Robert Paul Cassoni, Marc Richard Bourgeois, Matthew Richard Allen, Mark Mason Hargett, Benjamin Jacob Clare, Christopher Gerald Donner, Jason Matthew Orndorff, Todd Michael Yeagle, Philip Andrew Sawin

  • Patent number: 8499921
Abstract: An adjustable guide rail assembly for a conveyor system includes an adjustable guide member having a face extending between opposite sides, a large radius face segment and a small radius face segment. The large radius face segment and the small radius face segment extend widthwise between the opposite sides of the adjustable guide member and each define an arcuate guide path for a three dimensional article. A radius of the arcuate guide path changes by rotating the adjustable guide member from a large article configuration where the large radius face segment having a larger radius defines the arcuate guide path to a small article configuration where the small radius face segment having a smaller radius defines the arcuate guide path.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 17, 2012
Date of Patent: August 6, 2013
Assignee: The Procter & Gamble Company
Inventors: Jason Matthew Orndorff, Todd Michael Yeagle
