  • Publication number: 20200311723
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media facilitating blockchain-based management a portfolio of traded assets are disclosed. In embodiments, a primary authorized participant server may maintain a blockchain comprising blocks storing data associated with holdings of a portfolio of traded assets. Authorized participants may access the holdings files recorded to the blockchain and execute the holdings files against one or more rules engines to manage trading activities and initiate operations to align the portfolio of traded assets with one or more goals. The immutable records recorded to the blockchain may facilitate enhanced transparency and auditing while mitigating front-running and free-riding which could potentially have a negative impact on the portfolio.

  • Publication number: 20200311818
Abstract: Embodiments provide systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for concealing a makeup of a portfolio of traded assets via an optimized holdings file distributed to the public. In embodiments, a holdings file is received that identifies an actual makeup of a portfolio and an obfuscation engine is executed against the holdings file to produce an optimized holdings file. The optimized holding file approximates the portfolio over time but does not include information that reflects the actual makeup of the portfolio at any particular instance in time. The optimized holdings file may be publicly distributed to users while the holdings file is encrypted and distributed to authorized participant servers only, where the encrypted holdings file is ingested by a trading engine of the authorized participant server for use in market making operations with respect to the traded assets held in the portfolio of traded assets.

  • Patent number: 9767167
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a method and system for retrieving search results. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method and system for retrieving search results concurrently from multiple disparate databases, whether such databases be available through the Web, or other proprietary internal networks. In an exemplary embodiment, the system includes a user interface, a control engine, and a number of translators which are used to communicate with a number of corresponding databases. During exemplary operation, a user uses the user interface to enter search term(s) and other pertinent information relating to his/her search and specify which ones of the databases are to be searched. The search term(s) and other pertinent information are then relayed to the control engine which, in turn, forwards them to the appropriate translators which correspond to the specified databases to be searched.

  • Publication number: 20160314505
Abstract: A crowd sourced estimation system provides crowd sourced estimates from one or more estimators that are selected based on one or more predefined criteria. In operation, a user may request and estimate for a property identified by a property identifier. The estimation system may then transmit estimate requests to the selected estimators and generate an aggregate estimate from the estimates received from the estimators as a result. The aggregate estimate is then communicated to the user. The predefined criteria may include location or distance from the property for which an estimate is to be generated.
