  • Publication number: 20240126537
Abstract: An embodiment includes a method of computer software update in a managed network that includes endpoints having heterogenous operating systems. The method includes receiving a first update configured modify a first application on a first endpoint implementing a first non-Linux-based operating system (OS) and first metadata associated therewith. The method includes generating a first update package based on the first metadata and distributing the first update and the first update package to the first endpoint. The method includes accessing a product update list identifying a second application in an unpatched state on the second endpoint implementing a Linux-based OS and repository information of a repository device. Based on the repository information, the method includes accessing the second update and second metadata associated therewith. The method includes generating a second update package and distributing it and the second update such that the second endpoint locally implements the second update.

  • Patent number: 11950784
Abstract: Described here are devices for closing one or more tissues, and handles for controlling these devices. Generally, the devices described here comprise a snare loop assembly, wherein the snare loop assembly comprises a snare and a suture loop, and a handle for controlling the snare loop assembly. In some variations the snare loop assembly may comprise a retention member that may releasably connect the suture loop to the snare. In other variations the devices comprise one or more force-reducing suture locks to help prevent the suture loop from inadvertently disengaging from the snare loop assembly. In still other variations, the excess-suture management features. The handles described here may be configured to remove excess suture from a suture loop, and may also be configured to release the suture loop from the snare loop assembly.

  • Patent number: 11947167
Abstract: Fiber optic terminals, tools and methods for adjusting a split ratio of a fiber optic terminal are disclosed. In one embodiment, a tool for adjusting a split ratio of a fiber optic terminal includes an axle for insertion into a port of the fiber optic terminal, and a terminal engagement body disposed about the axle. The terminal engagement body includes a terminal engagement feature for engaging an alignment feature within the fiber optic terminal, wherein the axle is free to rotate with respect to the terminal engagement body, and a set-point indicator. The tool further includes an end piece coupled to the axle, and a plurality of set-point markers, wherein rotation of the end piece causes rotation of the axle and an alignment between one set-point marker of the plurality of set-point markers with the set-point indicator indicates the split ratio of the fiber optic terminal.

  • Publication number: 20240083323
Abstract: A truck bed camping and storage platform is provided. The platform is capable of being installed and removed from the rear (tailgate) of the pickup truck without the need to enter the truck bed. The platform is capable of providing cargo storage space between the platform support legs below, and a surface to sleep on above that is not constrained by the wheel wells in the truck bed. There may also be small side compartments for storage outside the legs of the baseframe of the platform and in front of and/or behind one or more of the wheel wells of the truck. The platform has the capability to be disassembled when not in use for easier storage and transportation.

  • Publication number: 20240058140
Abstract: A system for implanting an expandable interbody implant into an intervertebral space includes an elongated tool, the distal end of which is removably securable to the implant. The proximal end of the tool has an attachment interface for detachable securement to a plurality of different modules, each of which is adapted to effectuate a different function of the delivery system. The different functions include: grasping the implant delivery tool, providing an impaction surface for driving the advancement of the implant, supplying a graft material into the implant, and actuating the expansion of the implant. One of the modules may include a fluid delivery system for supplying hydraulic fluid to expand the implant. A fluid reservoir of the fluid delivery system may be oriented transverse to the cannula that delivers the fluid to the implant. A grafting block can be used to help pre-pack the implant with graft material.

  • Publication number: 20230399079
Abstract: A retrofit kit retrofits a buoy to provide dynamic control of a freeboard of the retrofitted buoy. The retrofit kit includes buoyancy chambers, an air reservoir, and a valve arrangement. A method for retrofitting a buoy retrofits a buoy to provide dynamic control of a freeboard of the retrofitted buoy. The buoyancy chambers surrounding a vertical axis of the buoy with a center of mass of the buoy disposed on the vertical axis below the buoyancy chambers. The buoyancy chambers provide a variable buoyancy ranging from a minimum buoyancy to a maximum buoyancy. The air reservoir inflates of the buoyancy chambers. The valve arrangement dynamically sets the freeboard of the buoy upon inflation and deflation of the buoyancy chambers for varying the variable buoyancy between the minimum buoyancy and the maximum buoyancy.

  • Patent number: 11767795
Abstract: There are describes methods and systems for operating an engine coupled to a fuel system having a fuel manifold configured to supply fuel to a combustor of the engine. The method comprises receiving a gaseous fuel flow request indicative of a change in demand for gaseous fuel to the engine; applying a fuel loss bias to the gaseous fuel flow request to obtain a biased fuel flow request, the fuel loss bias associated with a change in mass flow rate of the gaseous fuel from the fuel manifold to the combustor in response to the change in demand; and causing the gaseous fuel to flow into the combustor in accordance with the biased fuel flow request.

  • Patent number: 11732978
Abstract: In one general aspect, a microchannel heat exchanger is disclosed. It includes a cover, a base, and thermally conductive sheets between the cover and the base that each define a series of side-by-side lanes aligned with a flow direction. The lanes each include aligned slots that define microchannel segments and are separated by cross ribs. The sheets are stacked between the base and cover so as to cause at least some of the ribs to be offset from each other and allow the microchannel segments in the same lane in adjacent sheets to communicate with each other along the flow direction to define a plurality of microchannels in the heat exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20230239936
Abstract: A typical Software Defined Radio (SDR) receiver for Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) or higher order modulations accepts an incoming digital serial complex I/O channel sample stream and performs demodulation functions to recover the original baseband data stream that another source transmitted. Typically, for real-time high data rate (HDR)>5.0 Megabits per second (Mbps) operations, a SDR unit requires an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) component or Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) component to perform the customized Digital Signal Processing (DSP) intensive processing functions in real-time. However, ASIC chips and FPGAs are typically relatively expensive to develop, purchase, and/or reconfigure. With the parallel multi-core algorithm method of this claim, one can now implement a real-time HDR (>5.
