  • Patent number: 10414568
Abstract: An aerosol dispenser, an outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a preform for an outer container. The aerosol dispenser, outer container and preform each have a neck, which in turn has a crimp ring, to receive a valve cup clinched thereto. The crimp ring has a polygonal cross section providing alternating flat sides and vertices. The flat sides both function as integral vents and allow parallel translation of mold cavities so that a two piece molding apparatus may be used.

  • Patent number: 9493293
Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing apparatus for containing a pressurized composition. The dispensing apparatus comprises a reservoir for containing the composition, a flow conduit in fluid communication with the reservoir having a distal end forming a flow conduit orifice; and a displaceable actuator head comprising a side wall having an interior surface and a dispensing orifice formed through the side wall. An intermediate member having an aperture extending there through is interposed between the interior surface of the displaceable actuator head and the distal end of the flow conduit. The intermediate member is affixed to either the interior surface of the actuator head aligning the aperture with the dispensing orifice or to the distal end of the flow conduit aligning the aperture with the flow conduit orifice. The intermediate member seals the dispensing orifice when the displaceable actuator head is biased to an at-rest position.

  • Publication number: 20110146011
Abstract: An apparatus for removing debris from a target surface. The apparatus comprises a hollow roller with a supply roll and take-up roll axially rotatably disposed within the volume of the hollow roller. A sheet material, such as adhesive tape, extends from the supply roll through a slot, around the periphery of the roller at least 180°, back into the slot and onto be take-up roll. A partition separates the supply roll and take-up roll, reducing contamination of tape on the supply roll. An index mechanism may be provided to advance the tape one path length from the supply roll to take-up roll, the user does not overuse or underuse fresh tape.

  • Patent number: 6675845
Abstract: A method and package for controlled metered dispensing of a fluid product contained in the package having a metered dispensing system, each time the package is opened or uncapped are disclosed. By the present method and package, the maximum amount of product that can be dispensed is limited to a single metered dose after each uncapping of the package. Specifically, the metered dispensing system is configured to allow dispensing of only a single metered dose of a liquid, viscous liquid, gel, paste, or semi-solid product contained in the package and to prevent further dispensing of additional doses of product until at least one specific and deliberate step is taken that re-activates or re-engages the dispensing system. Such deliberate step is preferably one that occurs through natural use of the package, such as re-capping the open package after one single dose has been dispensed. Only after the open package has been re-capped can the next dose of product be available for dispensing.
