  • Patent number: 11461453
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to the modification of user account functionality based on a physical state of a mobile device. For example, in some embodiments, a mobile device may detect one or more physical states associated with the device. The mobile device may compare the one or more physical states to a set of rules for a user account associated with a user, where a given one of the set of rules specifies one or more functionalities, of the user account, to modify in response to one or more of the rules being satisfied. Further, in response to the one or more physical states satisfying a first rule of the set of rules, the mobile device may send, to a server system associated with the user account, a request to modify one or more functionalities associated with the user account.

  • Patent number: 10783478
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, mediums, and methods of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) delivery system. The system controls and manages UAVs for delivering packages. The system receives a drop off location for a package and instructs a UAV to navigate to the drop off location with the package. The system notifies a recipient of the package delivery through a device of the recipient, and in response to receiving one or more responses to the notification, causes the UAV to allow access to the package being delivered.

  • Patent number: 10733581
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for improving ease in initiating information transfers between devices. A user of a communications device accesses an image of a target recipient. With that recipient in view in the image, the user selects the portion of the screen where the recipient is displayed in the image. Pattern recognition is performed to extract one or more features of the selected portion of the screen as a recognized pattern. That recognized pattern is compared against multiple stored patterns that are associated with contacts in contact lists and/or other types of databases. Once a match is found, the user is prompted to confirm the identified recipient corresponding to the matching pattern and the data to transfer. Once confirmed, the data transfer is initiated based on the automatically determined recipient information.

  • Patent number: 10430566
Abstract: Systems and methods for an authentication system include determining that a first user device is located within a vehicle, where the first user device is associated with a first user. Vehicle authentication information is received from the vehicle. A vehicle account associated with the vehicle is authenticated using the vehicle authentication information. First transportation information associated with the vehicle is received from the vehicle. A user authentication configuration is determined based on the vehicle account and the first transportation information. A user account of the first user for the first user device is authenticated based on the first transportation information according to the user authentication configuration.

  • Publication number: 20180365676
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for an online transaction processor to enable location-based restricted device usage. A user may wish to utilize a device within a restricted area where device operations are restricted or banned without authorization and permission from a controlling entity. The user may generate a request for usage right within the area, and communicate the request to a service provider. In further embodiments, the user may utilize the device to enter another transaction within the area, including a transaction with another entity in the area, such as a merchant. The service provider may then determine a transaction within the area, for example, for the usage rights, and communicate the transaction to the user. If the user approves the transaction, the user may be granted rights to use the vehicle in the area or the service provider may process the transaction with the entity.

  • Publication number: 20170099394
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for allocating expense of data transfers between participants. An initiating endpoint may request to establish a voice data transfer with a receiving endpoint. A payment provider may receive data transfer information associated with the voice data transfer, which may include identifiers for the endpoints or users for their respective endpoints, as well as information used to determine a cost associated with the voice data transfer. The data transfer may also be a text or other data transfer. The payment provider may determine an endpoint initially assigned responsibility for payment of the voice data transfer by a service provider. The payment provider may receive a request from the endpoint initially responsible for payment to allocate at least a portion of the cost to the other endpoint. If the request is accepted, the payment provider may provide payment to the service provider or between the endpoints.
