An IDB tray with wells sized and shaped to form orthodontic brackets can be filled with a fluid, such as an adhesive or bonding agent. The IDB tray with the fluid-filled wells can be placed over the teeth of the patient. The fluid in the wells can contact the surfaces of the teeth. The fluid can be cured by way of exposure to UV light, forming orthodontic brackets and bonding the orthodontic brackets to the patient's teeth.
