  • Publication number: 20230145174
Abstract: A current sensor may take measurements of electrical currents that flow between two limbs of a mammal through at least a portion of the mammal's torso and/or an electrical stimulator may apply an electrical current dose thereto. Current measurements may be taken during a single diagnostic session while a ground electrode contacts the body at a preferably distal location on a limb and a probe electrode is sequentially placed at different locations on distal portions of other limbs. Each of the current delivery locations may be an acupuncture point. An electrical current state for the diagnostic session may be calculated. A lookup table may be used to determine one or more associated possible medical conditions and electrical current dosage may be used in an attempt to alter bodily electrical conductivity.

Each of the current delivery locations may be an acupuncture point. An electrical current state for the diagnostic session may be calculated. This state may consist of current ranges for one or more electrical currents that are measured during the session. A lookup table may be employed to determine one or more medical conditions that are indicated by the current state. Alternatively, a trained machine learning model may predict, based on the measured currents, one or more medical conditions.

  • Patent number: 11517215
Abstract: A current sensor may take measurements of electrical currents that flow between two limbs of a patient through at least a portion of the patient's torso. The current measurements may be taken during a single diagnostic session while the patient holds a ground electrode in a hand of one limb and a probe electrode is sequentially placed at different locations on the distal portions of other limbs. Each of the measurement locations may be an acupuncture point.

  • Patent number: 10011458
Abstract: A removable media handling module includes a body that is horizontally slidable into and removable from an imaging apparatus. The media handling module includes a lower media guide extending between a front and a rear of the body in a direction of insertion of the body into the imaging apparatus. With the media handling module inserted into the imaging apparatus, the lower media guide is positioned parallel to and spaced from a corresponding upper media guide mounted in the imaging apparatus to form at least a portion of a duplex media path therebetween. The media handling module includes a media feed through channel extending from a bottom of the body to an entrance of a simplex media path to allow media to be fed from a media tray below the media handling module and into the simplex media path when the media handling module is installed in the imaging apparatus.

With the media handling module inserted into the imaging apparatus, the lower media guide is positioned parallel to and spaced from a corresponding upper media guide mounted in the imaging apparatus to form at least a portion of a duplex media path therebetween. A drive mechanism including a clutched gear is operably connected to a feed roll assembly of the media handling module. The clutched gear is freely rotatable in a first direction that causes the feed roll assembly to rotate in a media process direction for feeding a printed media sheet along the duplex media path and is restrained from rotating in a second direction opposite the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20060117884
Abstract: The system includes at least two power disc elements, each mounted for rotation on a central shaft which is typically fixed. The first power disc element includes a first peripheral gear portion at the rim thereof by which the first power disc element may be turned by a first system gear mounted on a first system shaft which is offset from the central shaft. The first power disc element also has a second peripheral gear portion in the vicinity of the rim, extending forwardly. A second power disc element has a plurality of outer drive gears mounted for rotation to a rearwardly facing surface thereof, positioned to mate with the second peripheral gear portion on the first power disc element. A central gear is fixed to the central shaft to mate with the outer drive gears on the second power disc element. A second system gear mates with a peripheral gear portion of the second power disc element, the second system gear mounted on a second system shaft which is offset from the central shaft.
