  • Publication number: 20240158271
Abstract: A septic system is provided that includes a septic tank having a plurality of compartments with a tank inlet in a first compartment. First and second vaults are positioned in a second compartment. The first vault receives fluid from the first compartment at a level near a fluid surface in the tank. A first flow inducer receives fluid from the first vault at a level near a bottom of the first vault, and releases fluid into the second compartment at a level near the fluid surface. The second vault receives fluid from the second compartment at a level near a bottom of the second vault and discharge fluid at a level near the fluid surface. Third and fourth vaults and a second flow inducer are positioned in a third compartment, the third vault receiving fluid from the second vault, and the fourth vault discharging fluid to a tank outlet.

  • Patent number: 9698872
Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for inductive communication are provided in connection with providing mechanisms for detecting a remote NFC device without excessive power consumption. In one example, a communications device is equipped to monitor frequency oscillations associated with a NFC antenna using a calibrated LPO, determine that a number of occurrences of the frequency oscillations from a reference frequency is greater than a frequency deviation threshold, and perform a NFC polling procedure in response to the determination.

  • Patent number: 9285252
Abstract: A sensor and housing suitable for harsh environments includes a central axis and first and second housing sections. The first housing section includes a first fitting including a mating surface orthogonal to the axis and a tapered recess formed in the mating surface and coaxial with the axis. The tapered recess has a decreasing internal dimension at points further from the mating surface and terminates at a faceted recess. The second housing section includes a second fitting having a flange and a frusto-conical projection terminating in a faceted tip. When the first and second housing are coupled, the flange and mating surface are aligned, the frusto-conical projection contacts an interior surface of the first fitting that defines the tapered recess, and the faceted tip seats within the faceted recess. The housing may include a head for housing sensor electronics and a shield that encloses the head and is spaced from the head by an air gap.

  • Patent number: 6394917
Abstract: The football goal post of the present invention includes a cross bar that allows the spacing of the uprights to be selectively adjusted by the user of the goal post. A variety of embodiments are disclosed showing different arrangements for adjusting the spacing of the uprights. In some of the embodiments, the uprights are simultaneously adjusted by a single actuator. In other embodiments, the uprights may be manually adjusted while in other embodiments the uprights may be adjusted from a remote location. The invention also provides an adjustable ground sleeve that allows the goal post to be raised and lowered and rotated about the x, y, and z axes so that it may be precisely aligned with the football field during and after installation.
