Abstract: A method and information processing system for operating a matching service is disclosed. One method includes displaying a first social network and a second social network associated with a user of an interactive environment. The first and second social networks include one or more members of the interactive environment that are linked to the user. A selection of at least a first member in the first social network and at least a second member in the second social network is received from the user. The first member and the second member are free from association with each other. A connection request to the first member and the second member are sent for linking the first member and the second member together in response to receiving the selection of the first member and the second member.
