  • Patent number: 9118727
Abstract: Providing metadata subscription services includes receiving a notification subscription request containing an item selected from a plurality of items residing in a repository. The items are stored in hierarchically-arranged levels of storage within the repository. Providing the services also includes determining that metadata of the item has been modified and creating a notification including changes made with respect to the metadata and any others of the items residing in the repository at a storage level equal to a storage level of the item and any storage levels that are lower than the storage level of the item. Providing the services further includes transmitting the notification to a user-specified first address and transmitting a copy of the item including the changes to a user-specified second address. The user-specified second address is different than the user-specified first address.

  • Patent number: 8335824
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to methods, systems, user devices and computer program products for providing metadata subscription services. Methods include receiving notification that an item in a repository has been modified and determining if a notification is associated with the item being modified. The notification corresponds to an address and the determining is performed in an automated manner in response to the receiving. The notification is transmitted to the address in an automated manner in response to determining that the notification request is associated with the item being modified.

  • Publication number: 20070237656
Abstract: A fan assembly, such as a rotary axial fan assembly, is disclosed with a shroud that is adapted to be mounted proximate to a heat exchanger. The shroud is sized for conveying a flow of fluid through the heat exchanger and the shroud. A stator fan blade extends inward from the shroud for supporting a hub generally central within the shroud. A motor stator is encapsulated within the hub for receiving a fan rotor and fan blades for forcing the flow of fluid through the heat exchanger and the shroud. The hub may be formed from a thermally conductive material for transferring heat from the motor stator into the flow of fluid for dissipating the heat.

  • Publication number: 20060257251
Abstract: The present invention provides a rotary axial fan and a stator fan for moving air through a heat exchanger for an internal combustion engine cooling system. The fan includes a hub and primary fan blades extending radially from the hub. An annular shroud is attached to the primary fan blades and supported coaxially with the central axis to limit the radial flow of air along the primary fan blades. A plurality of secondary fan blades are interposed between the primary fan blades and each have a first end attached to the annular shroud and terminate in a second end that is not attached to the hub. The stator fan includes a shroud with an array of stator fan blades supporting a hub for the radial axial fan. The size, orientation and material characteristics of the stator fan blades improve sound reduction and heat transfer of the rotary axial fan assembly.
