  • Patent number: 7368154
Abstract: A heat-resistant plastic tube is mainly made of a polyester-based elastomer and exhibits a change amount in angle of ±10° or less in a shape retainability performance test, a change rate in inner diameter of ±2% or less in a dimensional stability performance test, a change rate in yield strength of ±30% or less in a flexibility retainability performance test. The heat-resistant plastic tube can be subjected to a thermal bending at a temperature in a use environment or higher and exhibits excellent retention of the bent shape through the thermal bending after being left in the use environment.

  • Publication number: 20050053742
Abstract: A resin tube has a multilayer resin structure. A first resin layer contains polybutylene naphthalate. Second and third resin layers are layers containing copolymer of polybutylene naphthalate and polytetramethylene glycol. The second resin layer is on an outer side of the first resin layer, and the third resin layer is on an inner side of the first resin layer. A fourth resin layer contains polybutyene terephthalate.

  • Patent number: 6355321
Abstract: A tube for fuel transportation according to the present invention includes an innermost layer comprising one selected from the group consisting of fluorine type resins and polyamide type resins, a middle layer comprising a polyalkylene naphthalate resin, an outer layer comprising a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer, and an adhesive layer formed between the innermost layer and the middle layer. Polybutylene naphthalate may be used as the polyalkylene naphthalate resin. The tube for fuel transportation according to the present invention has excellent barrier action against fuels and is highly kink-proof.

  • Patent number: 5763034
Abstract: A fuel transfer tube comprises an inner layer of hot-melt fluororesin and an outer layer of partial aromatic polyamide resin or ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. The layer of hot-melt fluororesin reliably prevents alcohol from permeating into the tube, while gasoline is effectively prevented from permeating into the tube by the layer of partial aromatic polyamide resin or ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. The fuel transfer tube, therefore, is suitable for transferring alcohol, gasoline and a mixture thereof.
