  • Patent number: 6687678
Abstract: This schedule management system can flexibly cope with an exceptional change or deletion of a part of a schedule. In registering a routine schedule, a unique number (routine number) is added to a series of such schedules. The schedule so registered is so adapted to be able to change only the content of the schedule without changing the added routine number in changing individual schedule. Therefore, an exceptional schedule the content of which has been changed can be flexibly managed by being deleted/changed in a bundle together with other routine schedule, for example. A routine basic condition such as every other day and every Monday and a routine exceptional condition such as shifting down week end and holiday to next day can be set in the routine pattern.

  • Patent number: 6594637
Abstract: When a regularly and periodically occurring schedule is inputted along with a period and condition of occurrence for a plurality of arbitrary users, a schedule of a corresponding date is automatically generated for the plurality of users. A common routine schedule number is correlated to the generated schedules and a common sum schedule number is associated to each date. The schedules thus registered can be corrected/deleted individually and in a group.

  • Patent number: 5796888
Abstract: According to the present invention, an optical switch apparatus is provided for switching the connections between a plurality of fixed optical fibers which are fixed and arranged on an optical fiber support base within a container filled with an index-of-refraction matching agent, and movable optical fibers provided on a movable base which is moved by a moving mechanism comprising a worm gear within the aforementioned container. In addition, a worm gear driving member and a cam driving member of a matching device are both provided on the exterior of the aforementioned container via a seal. This worm gear driving member which is connected to a control device, starts the positioning sequence and moves the movable base to a standby position following return of the movable base to a predetermined origin within the container. As a result, it is possible to prevent contamination of the index-of-refraction matching agent over a long period of time, and thereby reduce the connection loss to a satisfactory level.
