The first optical path difference providing structure provides a predefined optical path difference and changes a spherical aberration to be one of under-correction and over-correction for all of the first light flux, the second light flux, and the third light flux. The second optical path difference providing structure provides a predefined optical path difference and changes a spherical aberration to be the other of under-correction and over-correction of the spherical aberration only for the second light flux.

  • Patent number: 8199629
Abstract: There are provided an objective lens for an optical pickup device which can record and/or reproduce information on/from an optical disk with high density with the use of a light flux with a short wavelength while keeping a temperature characteristic to be satisfactory in spite of having a plastic objective lens, and the optical pickup device. The objective lens suppresses generation of a spherical aberration even if a temperature change arises, by sacrificing wavelength characteristics and by enhancing temperature characteristics. Such satisfactory temperature characteristics can be acquired by the ring-shaped structure formed as a turning structure on an optical surface of the objective lens, in which the ring-shaped structure includes ring-shaped zones whose number is 3 or more and 30 or less and the ring-shaped structure is formed such that adjoining ring-shaped zones cause a predetermined optical path difference for an incident light flux.

  • Publication number: 20110226595
Abstract: The present invention provides a technique that can divide and illuminate display elements juxtaposed in one key top for each use function. Areas divided by the dividing portions of the attenuation means in the projection surface of the key top can be respectively illuminated by backlights from different LEDs, so each divided area can be individually controlled and illuminated. Therefore, it is possible to realize a key sheet in which display elements juxtaposed in one key top are divided for each use function and illuminated.
