    Abstract: A bearing ring manufactured by the method includes the steps of forming recesses in both ends of an outer peripheral surface of a material ring having fiber flows extending substantially parallel to the outer peripheral surface and cutting into two ring halves the material ring at its center with respect to the direction of width. The ring halves are then brought together with their ends having the recesses facing to each other to form a bearing ring.
