  • Patent number: 11973904
Abstract: A signal processing device includes a data writing unit, a channel number converting unit, and a plurality of serial data transferring unit. The data writing unit is configured to write data of m channels into a memory. The channel number converting unit is configured to output the data read from the memory as data of n channels, where m is larger than n. The plurality of serial data transferring unit is configured to transfer the data of the n channels to a processing device in a subsequent stage.

  • Patent number: 7167344
Abstract: A magnetic head actuator provided with a finely movable tracking device having a piezoelectric element is provided for easy wiring to the piezoelectric element and reducing problems such as wire breakage and continuity defects. In the magnetic head actuator, a portion of an FPC board resin base is removed to expose a portion of the feeding line that extends onto a voltage impressing electrode. An electrical and mechanical connection is made between the electrode and the exposed portion of the feeding line by ultrasonic bonding, Au ball bonding, or stud bumping.

  • Patent number: 7075754
Abstract: A method for mounting a flexible flexure, which has a slider fixed thereto and having an electro-magnetic conversion element integrally, on a load beam includes the steps of joining a main flexure, which has a junction piece for joining the load beam, to the load beam with the junction piece therebetween; inspecting characteristics by floating the electromagnetic conversion element onto a magnetic disc; when the characteristics do not satisfy a reference as a result of the inspection, removing the main flexure from the load beam by cleaving the main flexure at a cleavage part disposed in a vicinity of the junction piece; and at least one time joining a sub-flexure having no junction piece to the load beam, from which the main flexure is removed.
