Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product are provided for performing access control. Regarding an arbitrary document or the like in a logical hierarchy structure, there is provided a method for determining whether a range of access authority set for a certain user with respect to a document or the like exceeds a range of access authority set for the user with respect to the folder positioned immediately above the folder is provided, when a change in contents of the access authority set for each user or a new document or the like by being moved or copied from another document is created or the documents moved or copied. Where the exceeding is determined, a new folder for direct access is created and access authority is set equal to or exceeds the range of access authority determined to exceeding the range of access authority set for the user.

Abstract: In a terminal with a display screen that is too small to accept a required input in its entirety, a user is enabled to perform the input without intricate operation. The terminal displays input pages downloaded from a server via a network, and transmits input information entered into the pages by the user. The terminal comprises a page display section, which displays a plurality of input pages using a browser executed on the terminal, an input information storage section, which stores a plurality of input parameters entered into more than one of the input pages, and an input information transmission section, which combines the input parameters and transmits the combination to the server in response to an instruction.

Abstract: To synchronize client data and server data, while reducing the number of transactions, a server has a sending-confirmed information storage section which stores, as a sending-confirmed list, content last confirmed in a client; an update data set storage section which stores the updated data set to be held by the client; an update information sending section which sends the difference between a data set identified from the sending-confirmed list and an updated data set; a sent information updating section which stores in a sent information storage section content of the updated data set as a sent list; an update request receiving section which receives an update request from the client; and a sending-confirmed information updating section which replaces the sending-confirmed list with the sent list if the content of the data set held by the client is different from the content of the data set identified from the sending-confirmed list.

Abstract: A call forwarding control system for use in a communication system which includes at least two terminals connected to a first network and at least two terminals connected to a second network which is coupled to the first network where the second network is an integrated services digital network and the first network is a public network. The call deflection control system being included within the second network. The call forwarding control system includes a forwarding accepter part for accepting a call forwarding request from a terminal of the second network upon that terminal receiving a call from a terminal of the first network. A judging part is included in the control system for judging whether the call forwarding request is a call forwarding to a terminal of the first or second network.
